Internships Opportunities
In 1st year students are required to complete their mandatory social internships. From 2nd year the students are plced in startups and govenment departments are exposure. The students can also opt for self internship
Placement Experience
From 4th semister the students become elegible for the campus placements. since i am in 2nd year i ahve not been a part of placements yet so my knowlege is based of university communication and peer intraction. The no. of students placed is high every year. the no. many vary but over85% students elegible of placements are placed. I will sit for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearwise fees is approximately 5lakh. I had domacile scholership of 35% on my tution fees A lot of other scholoships are also available like school precentage or jee percentile, domacile if u are a citizen of uttrakhand.
Campus Life
UURJA is the annnual cultural fest of UPES. along with that the happniess day and other events are also held on university level. There are a number of clubsu can be a part of and each club helds no. of events every month.
Admission
I also applied to thapar university. I got the course i wanted in that college but i wanted to opt for data science in the end a course that univerity did not offer. Students can apply for admission though jee score, direct school score or take the UPES university entrance test. The cutoff for all these are average
Faculty
The faculties are well educated in their fields and approchable. The assesment of the course is divided into internals that include quizes, assignments and class tests, then mid semister exams and end semister exams.
Night Life
I am a day scholar so i cannot comment on the hostel life Famous hangout places include frisco cafe, canteen, the football ground outside campus the students love to hangout at the camples or Cafe dose cafe
