No doubt faculties are really good here at UPES they are very much educated and the ratio of faculty to students is 1:40 average ratio . The labs and the equipments at the lab are properly maintained and u can see each type of lab over here . There are basically 3 exams in an semester in which there are 2 class tests , 1 mid sem and at last end sem

The True and Real Experience at UPES, Dehradun

I personally like the Faculty here at school of law, and they are quite approachable as compared to other schools.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Faculties are very supportive as pushing from them comes at the right time.

There are various things which I have analysed before writing this and one of them is that their nature. Let's be honest they are all stars in their field and some attitude is bound to come. However our faculties don't have that in them and hende they are my lovely dovey people and especially Mihir Sir.

The best place to study between mountains.

There are more than enough faculties for students. There never is a shortage. Most faculties are approachable but the ones who aren't are most of the time busy with research. Piyush Kumar is a professor here who understands the psychology of students and can put himself in our shoes. Snigdha Mishra can do the same. There are two exams- Mid semester and End semester. Approximately 30% students may fail an exam. Course curriculum is very relevant for the most part. I do think there is something about the industry that the experts may know that we don't and that's why they put it in the syllabus.

Inside UPES: what you need to know

Faculty to student ratio is 1:50 . Faculties are very much approachable at their cabin on weekdays. Also they are phds and some of them are iitians. There are 2 exams one mid sem and one end sem every semester.

Faculty are some good and some bad Exams are mid sems and end sems Dr. Rupendra Kumar Pauchari is one of the best faculty of electronics branch. He make sure students are understanding each and every topic and not only pretending to understand Dr. Ranjhan Mishra is worst he teaches you basic and give extreme level questions in exam Many students need to beg the faculty to pass them as exams are very tough in end sems

The teachers behaviour can be appreciated.

The teacher are less for my particular course.

The behaviour of the support team should be improved because they don't know what problems can student face and they have no idea how to fix it! There are 2 exams in six months one is sessional and other is final. Other faculties are good enough the way other behaves it's pretty good.
