I was among the top 200 rankers and thus i got the admission here through UPESAT. For management and even Law programs, UPES have made entrance mandatory for applying.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. If not then in top 20k JEE ranks your name has to be there regardless. So those are the only ways to get admission especially in CSE at the UPES University.

UPES is top class!

I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. So, UPESAT I was among the top 500 and therefore I got the branch of my choice too. So, I am happy that our university is very easy to get admission done because it didn't took me more than a day for the same.

UPES has the best facilities!

Assessment test is there but that's not the only way of getting here. There are other ways too and students can go that way like on 12th score or sports quota because there are over 1000 new admission done every year. UPES was the lone place I tried and I got admission too.

UPES is above the rest!

UPESAT is for engineering and likewise most courses here are through a test procedure. I was rejected by definitely the dream colleges like the IITS, BITS and NITs too. Manipal is where I had admission but it was too far and so I chose UPES as it's atleast a night drive from my home.

UPES has best sports access!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam. So, it's a good thing that we are doing a proper assessment before getting in here.

UPES University is a novelty!

Admission even though it's a private university and has nearly 1200 students but all have come after clearing UPESAT. As university has made compulsory to sit students for that. Even other courses too have their set entrance at UPES Dehradun.

UPES Dehradun is scenic!

Admission in Engineering is through UPESAT and likewise all course have their own entrance apart from normal graduation science, arts, and commerce courses. I didn't get any rejection as UPES was the only university I tried for and luckily I got admission. I did had some backup plans though but I got here and so my plan A clicked.

UPES is modern day university!

UPESAT and also JEE Main Scores are taken into account to get admission here. Students coming through UPESAT gets some discount whole students who are coming through other assessment test doesn't qualify for the scholarships but admission if they stand on university criteria are given admission.

UPES University has a universal charm!

For Engineering students have to appear for UPESAT and likewise for law students the entrance is ULSAT, for management students it's UPESMAT. So aptitude test for likewise almost all the special courses and admission in B.Com, BSc and BA are done without entrance. Those students are provided admission depending upon their 12th score.
