The college provides scholarship facilities for students who are good in the study.
Hostel of the college is amazing 24 wifi , electricity is available through the day washrooms are also good ,there is not much restriction in any thing the rent of these hostel are very less 4480 for one year.
The environment of university is definitely very clean and fresh with natural beauty, some facilities like bus, security guard parking, play ground, canteen cafe are available here, hills beauty is seen in this campus

Dislikes

The cut off marks for hnbgu is very low and also it has spot counseling at the vacant seats.
It is very difficult to get proper schedule of exams.getting time table issues are being faced for many years.we can't prepare for our exam by following this chaotic exam schedule.
The student clubs i hate the most there always noise around the college. student gather and do unusual noise to disturb others. that impact college reputation.

College teachers of my department especially were very cooperative.
The infrastructure is clean with all the required amenities.
It's a great place for persuing programs with quite affordable education options for all category students.

Dislikes

There is no proper placement facility for students of the college.We didn't got any placement opportunity in our department but maybe things have improved in this matter too.

Placement Experience:

I m not sure of placement process of other courses.As compared to placement opportunities of other colleges there are very less here. Students of my department went for off campus placement options. In terms of internship opportunities it was a average experience here.

The college's infrastructure is pretty nice as it's a government college. So according to it, the college has so many facilities to students during classes and practical.
The teacher of the college are also hardworking in their particular subjects and try their best for the students.

The course curriculum of the college is also amazing. Teachers always try to enhance their methods of teaching students in a way which help them to understand and learn any topic byheart. The frequency of exams sometimes can be ups and downs but they try to maintain the rhythm.

The story of dav pg college dehradun

Likes

Dav pg college,Dehradun gives ancient vibes which i think is really cool.
While studying there you don’t have to visit daily which saves time and you can do coaching.
The seniors are very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

There is a lot of crowd which makes the place crowded
Students aren’t regular so classes are suspended most of the times

The classes are not regular and most of the times students don't come so teachers suspend the classes but as per my course Bsc, it is very important to study so we issue books from library and study them. Whenever there are classes teachers also make us teach effectively

1 placement cell in campus and like ky cource of forestry was 4 year cource and you take a placement in 4 year my plan after a degree was IFS OFFICER I BECOME a DFO it is my dream please dont share to anyone its ky privately

An Enlightening Journey

Faculty members in our college were good and supportive.
As the fee structure is quite affordable. They provide good value for money education
College is affiliated with HNBGU. So will get a degree from a central university

Dislikes

I am dissatisfied with the placements of our college. The placement graph was too low. Not even a single company visited our college for recruitment.
The infrastructure of our college was average. Facilities like classroom and labs were decent.
College do not provide any hostel facilities.

Course curriculum is designed in a very good way, that covers all the aspect of computer science.The course curriculum covers all the important subjects that prepares you for real world applications. There are four theory subjects and two practicals in every semester . Examinations occurs tice in each semester , first one is the mid sem exams and the second one is the final university exam

A Foresters Review for new foresters

Faculty is experienced and very supportive , Library with all the necessary books
Field Visits and tours in every respective semester
Labs and Hitech Nursery with all the necessary equipment

Dislikes

Transport facilities are less you have to walk within the campus
Weather is unpredictable , chilling winters and warm summers , can't predict rain
As it is located in Valley cost of living is bit costly

The college of my dreams

Likes

The best thing about our college is its teaching faculty. They are really helping and intelligent. They help students in every aspect and are always ready to support the students.
The other best part of our college is its social involvement in social affairs and highly engaged politiical bodies.
Another part of my college which i like is our NCC and NSS groups. Which are always ready to motivate students and the trainers are highly disciplined and motivating.

Dislikes

One thing i dont like is the poor condition of buildings as it need repairing and modifications. The classes can be designed better.

Our curriculum is medium hard as i find chemistry a bit easy and physics a bit hard. The curriculum helps us to prepare for my future government examination and PCM course helps me to prepare for further post gradution in my interested subjects

I like the surrounding nature of this college and this college is in hilly place so it's peaceful
If you talk about faculty expertise so I think there is no expert faculties. all are new bees and faculty changes in every 4-6 months
The college temple is beautiful but very small

Dislikes

There is nothing to be liked about this college.
When you take admission in that college the administration department mam will tell you that the companies like HCL TCS wiproo come here for placement but it's all fake not even a single company come here for any type of placement especially for IT .
The faculties are not experience at all they higher anyone whose taking less salary

I think this coast does not focus more on technical aspects. I think this course should focus more on the coding part. And the exam should not be conducted just before the semester exam it should be conducted at least 3 or 2 months before the semester exam so that student can start prepping from the starting
