MNNIT Allahabad M.Tech Water Resources Development & Management: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to NITs, including MNNIT Allahabad, requires qualifying through the GATE exam. With a GATE score of 616 in 2016, the candidate was allocated to MNNIT Allahabad in the third round of Common Entrance Counseling for NITs. GATE scores are valid for three years, offering flexibility for participation in counseling. The faculty at MNNIT is a blend of dedicated educators, some focused more on consultancy, and others with limited expertise.

The fee for M.Tech programs has increased to between 60,000 and 70,000 INR per semester from the previous 45,000 INR, with B.Tech fees also rising. Placement is strong for B.Tech students, especially in Computer Science and Electrical, reaching up to 24 LPA, while Civil and Mechanical departments see packages up to 6.5 LPA. Internships are not available. Government scholarships, which previously covered costs adequately, have not increased in line with rising fees.

Students receive a stipend of 400 INR per day, amounting to 12,400 INR monthly.
