Likes

The University of Allahabad is offer a blend of historic academic legacy and extreme affordability.
In AU highly Intelligent and Qualified faculty.
Excellent Academics and Central library present.

Dislikes

Poor placement Opportunities & Inactive and most student lack of skill job oriented.
Outdated curriculum and poor infrastructure
Lack of student politics since 2019 and limited extracurricular activities

Yes .Allahabad university syllabus (BA) is fully alligned with UPSC and state civil services examination also many student take humanities because to prepared civil services exams nd paper in A4 size sheet to write. The difficulty level of examination is good

Regular classes are held at time most of the teachers came at time and leave the class on time if you have doubt they help you most of the time it is an advantage for the students you read books suggested by the teachers and ask any doubt if you hav
Raging is strictly bann special cells are made just for raging also there is special cells for just for girls to avoid any kind of harrasment and teachers are also aware towards this . seniors do not disturb you they may help you about how to stud
Highly qualified proffesors all the teachers are highly qualified all are PhD from well reputed college also a proffesor from iit Kharagpur some teachers are good enough that you didn't have to depend on other things they solve all important pro

Dislikes

Some teachers are not good at teaching if you ask any basic question they just showt at you in front of whole class they just teach you main topics in complex ways even if they are PhD. For this you have to depend on other sources like YouTube etc..
Practicals do not held properly in a week there is two days for practical and 1 day for chemistry in physics practical all the students face problems due to teacher behaviour they are very rude and misbehaving.A lot of time just wasted in this weekly
College playground isn't good they just waste it the playground is full of bushes and guarbages also we have to face electricity problem in summer days class is full of students during electricity problem all the students are suffering from saffocati

I want to get admission in Au main campus but due to higher cuttoff this year I didn't got admission so I take admission in cmp degree college this college is better then any other affiliated colleges of AU also due to fee structure also due to descent environment

Likes

The campus is vast, and big. It is squeaky clean and highly maintained. It
The buildings are well maintained and clean as well. The washrooms are clean as well.
The environment of the university is very nice. The faculties are very helpfull and encourage us in studying.

Dislikes

The area it is situated is in outskirts which make it a little problematic to come
The campus is divided into various parts making it a little difficult to locate
The placement service is typically not well enough

I chose this course as it is a multidisciplinary course enhancing the chances of better prospects in future as well. Anthropology is a holistic subject which deals with all the relations of human along with the social environment. This is a very important subject in nowaday world and would highly influence a person's moral character as well.

University Of Allahabad

Likes

The Central Library of The university have the best Study Vibes.
Studying in Allahabad University does not feels like burden..The structure of old curriculum is very balancing.
The Exam Pattern of Annual Exams is similar to mains examination of UPSC.

Dislikes

The hostel Life is very hectic and pressurized for the 1st year students.
The professor's are political and inaccessible in nature sometimes..and after the students union election were banned the staff also sometimes found arrogant
The girl's to boys ratio is little less according to expectations of equality...

Course curriculum is relevant in nature as subject contain the syllabus which is in future useful in UGC NET syllabus and Optional syllabus of UPSC...The course is comprehensive in nature as it gives different aspects of different subjects

ECC's good and bad things

Likes

Ancient times classrooms and buildings are there with highly maintained ventilation .
Educated professors sir / mam are present to teach the Student and clear thier doubt .
Extra circular activities are also conducted by the college for better exposure and gardens are there with so much of greenry

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good to handle for the students as gives enough time between the exams to take a break for the Student can take rest or freshen up thier mind and prepasre for the next exam . The tutorial exams are of 1 hour and the semester exams are of 3 hours .

Likes

Cooperative professor and research scholar
Competitive environment and friendly too
Providing various opportunities in public as well as private sector and knowledge too.

Dislikes

Extra competative for individual and quite politics too
Hard exam analysis and checking ,less recognised by others
When u are telling your degree you have to explain it all to others which feels sad ..

Yes tha curriculum are well structured and good for every exams because I have to go to civil field that's why I chose due to there interdisciplinary studies and connection to every exams and filed The curriculum is good and prepare for rural society and also provide further research opportunities for future in the rural technology and society The curriculum needs to be for technical and entrepreneurship based There is 3 hour exam for semester and the level of questions paper in exam is moderate to hard .

Ewing Christian College : from grounds to clocktower

Likes

Absolutely loved the surrounding and the feel of ECC, stepping into the gate of ECC and moving forward inside always felt like a good place to grow and explore.
The quality of faculty is worth praising
Classrooms, libraries, ground, cafeteria everything is super accesible

Dislikes

Infrastructure of some departments are getting ancient a bit
The Common public wifi is slower than 3G
Cafeteria must offer a good menu foe the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECC uses UGC approved Course Curriculam which is same as University of Allahabad and BHU too. So the course curriculam is comprehensive but keeping in mind that Universities have not updated their syllabus for so long time it may feel a little out dated for 10% of time.

Don't come in allahabad university

Collage experience is very bad ,because there is no collage life , teachers are very rude , they always want to fail you , in 1st year only 35% students were passed. and very poor building is there, there is no fest and function in whole year.
after taking admission i found that many student feel that they have choose wrong collage, seniors always wants to junior will say "namaste sir" , in library mobile are not allowed in this internet era, even girls and boys have different sections.
faculities are educated but they dont want to teach you , in physics lab there are minimum 4 teacher are available but no one want to teach how instrument work, they always say go and read how it work, they dont want that you can complete experiment,

Dislikes

teacher are unable to complete their syllabus
there is no fest and program in whole year, and no sport program , and don't imagine for extra carricular activities
In lab instruments are very poor, teachers are also very rude , they dont want you to teach in lab that how instrument work

- there is very limited cource , use can understant by looking on website , - there is no connection of carriculum to real world application - course is not updated about 20 yearsthere is very bulky courses even many topics are not teaches in other university like BHU ,DU - exams are held once in year, and there is two shift of exam timing morning and evening, difficulty level is very hard.

Life at JT Girls Degree College

Likes

The peaceful and safe environment of the college is highly recommended for the girls.
The way of teaching of the professors is very nice. They're very helpful and highly qualified and experienced.

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide a good canteen facility which would enable the students to have a healthy meal in case anyone feels hungry during the college hours.
The building needs to maintained properly. It must be clean.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.

overall experince in AU was good and for me it was the best time of my life

Likes

there were experienced proffesors , and regular classes
there was no attendence issue , like u can skip classes and do other preparation with college
cleanliness, beautiful campus , no bullying

Dislikes

there was no extra curicular activity like different clubs for singing, sports etc
there was no farewell or fresher party in college
you have to manage your freshers and farewell parties on your own

i chose this cousre because subjects were familier to me as i have studied in class 12th teaching methods were good but they need to improve practical labs in bsc there was anual exam no tests but in msc there was semester wise exam and tests were also included
