Jagat Taran Girls College was established as an associate college of Allahabad University with the objective of imparting quality education and facilitating all round development of women by means training, workshops and extra-curricular activities and thereby promote women empowerment. Located in the city of Allahabad, the college is very close to Anand Bhawan, the ancestral house of Nehru-Gandhi family.
