Course Curriculum Overview
I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

We have the UP Scholarship Scheme for students whose family income is less than 4 lakhs. The fees for different courses are increasing day by day. Now we have the semester based exam so the fees is paid on semester basis.
Campus Life
Based on my experience, campus life in my college is simple and largely academic-focused. The social environment is average, and student interaction mostly happens within departments or friend circles. While the campus provides basic opportunities for engagement, activities beyond academics are limited and not very frequent. The college occasionally organizes an annual cultural programme and sometimes a technical or academic event generally held between February and March. These events are conducted on a small scale and depend largely on student participation. They provide some exposure but are not regular or highly structured. The library is functional and accessible, offering essential textbooks and reference books related to the syllabus. A few journals and newspapers are available, but the collection is limited and not frequently updated. Digital resources and online journal access are minimal, so students often rely on external or online sources for detailed study and research. Classrooms are basic and traditional, mainly equipped with blackboards or whiteboards. Only a few classrooms have projectors, which are used occasionally for presentations or seminars. Overall, the infrastructure meets minimum academic requirements but lacks advanced technological facilities. In terms of sports and extracurricular activities, the campus offers basic facilities for games.
Admission
I applied for Delhi University and got into one of its top college however due to financial issues and the distance from my hometown to Delhi was vast so I couldn't go there. I studied well and cleared all of my exams however due to certain reasons I couldn't go there. I do regret not going there. the admission process of Delhi University mainly depended on CUET score. later I had to choose my current University the eligibility criteria is 12th pass and the exam preferred is CUET that is conducted by NTA.
Faculty
The faculty members are quite academically qualified. However most of them lack interest in teaching. the faculty to student ratio is 80:1. The new teachers are very much interested in teaching but the old ones are just fullfiling their duty and nothing else. There are semester wise exams happening currently. we have to give 3 exams. Two major and one minor. The major exam has two papers, both subjective and the minor one is on OMR sheet. The exams are moderate on level as the pyqs gets repeated every year so it's easy if you prepare it well.
Interview Experience
No I didn't face any sort of group discussion interview or written test for the admission. it used to happen prior the CUET exam but as of now it does not happens. you need not prepare any sort of these things to take admission into the University. the only thing you have to worry about is to score well in the CUET exam.
Night Life
There's no nightlife in my college. Libraries are not open in nights. The hostels get closed till 8 pm for girls but there is no restriction for boys. There's lot of places to explore outside the campus Yes, the locality is safe for boys but not very safe for girls.
