Course Curriculum Overview
i have always shown interest in psychology and this was a force which pulled me here to study psychology. i would suggest some aspects of improvement like more real life study instead of just learning stuffs from the book. real life experinces and situations makes a student to connect and understand those topic more clearly. practical subject examination are of about 50 marks 2 papers and non practical subject of 70 marks 2 set of paoer each. i have also given an internal examination of around 25 marks for pract and 30 for non pract 1hr exam. sem exam of 2 hr each paper
Internships Opportunities
there was an intership program for bcom students which my roommate has enrolled and it duration is of about 45 days at eve 7-9pm of zoom video call. i will give them an opportunity to get intership abfter grad
Fees and Financial Aid
i'm first year ba student of ewing christian college and i paid around rupees 13k collective for both semester. my subjects are psychology, english and med. history and fees depend on what subject you are gonna choose. there is also a scholarship program for all streams and after getting approved you will be give scholarship money nearly to what your tuition fees you have paid, which i have heard from my friends who have filled the form. scholarship given is not merit based but by category based.
Campus Life
it really doesnt have any fest or festival kind of stuff. basic celebration of diwali decoration, christmas celebration. i havent really been to the central library, i have only been to the reading room area which is good, clean and good for personal study time. there are also computers in the reading room if you want you surf online for study materials. classrooms have basic lighting, fan, windows for ventilation, blackboard, whiteboard, projector and white screen. there are different clubs for each course, like in english there is a club called meraki, in psychology there is a club called chetna
Admission
i oppted for delhi but didnt got into it because of high cutoff and general category. this college i recieved an email that i have cleared the cutoff and then i searched about this college online and more for reviews and consulted my parents an relatives. and the other admission process was quite easy. i gave cuet and cleared it.
Faculty
i personally think the faculty of english, medieval history are really nice, interactive and easy for any student(im also an introvert) to communicate. i personally liked english faculty the best. the professors are chill, open and ready to listen to your opinion. about my pschology faculty the professor seems always not in a good mood and mostly cancels class. my first semester exams just ended and i would say the paper was good and direct for my course but i have heard from my seniors that faculty never leaves way to cut your marks from your answer sheet. very strict paper evaluation.
Night Life
there is a gym where i have not yet got a chance to visit. cafeteria also reopened recently with all the basic snacks to munch during class breaks like chai coffee samosa maggi bun maska. there is alsp sitting chairs and table. there are garden to sit and chill during breaks and chat. i will say yes the locality is safe to roam. campus timing is from i guess 9-5pm. for girls 5pm is the last you can stay in the campus and there is no hostel facility provided by college so you have to find yourself pg or flat
