Likes
- They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
- *there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
- There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.
Dislikes
- The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
- The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
- On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

- Library are very large soo there is no shortage as in exam time maximum student use library .still some places left
Dislikes
- The electricity is very poora here..even in exam times sometimes electricity gone ..and no backup..in rare condition they give backup for some time
- Hostel food is very poora ,,sometimes its not even edible
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is good for those who study ..ans from third year we are eligible..some of our senior also got PPO ..as cgpa also matters ..but not for every .. companies visited here is microsoft ,paypal ,uber, jp morgon and many more

- Nature is good it feels like heaven you can enjoy with your gf (if any)
- Sports complex of nit Agartala is best compare to all others nits
- Boys to girls ratio is 5:1 which is very bad
Dislikes
- All facilities are not bad but some teachers come to waste time
- Hostel are not good from inside, no mentorship
- Need improvement in infrastructure, and more facilities ....

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

- I don't like food here that will be not that good.
- The will teach in hindi many faculty that may not be okay for everyone
Course Curriculum Overview:
Yeah I am from computer science and engineering...and the course was ok but compared to remaining campus here the course will be very slow... But more and best nits or iits will be very fast.... And that's it

- Poor internship assistance from college side
Placement Experience:
There is placement support by placement cell you have option of choosing 1normal company
If get normal tire then you can only participate in standed tire. If you get standed tire company normal will be cancelled. There is dream tire if you get placed in that tire your placement will be marked as done you can't participate in further companys

- Branch teachers are mostly chill with classes etc.
- The campus is very big. Greenery is present in almost the whole campus.
- Good companions from different parts of the country.
Dislikes
- Fests doesn't occurs on time due to internal problems.
- Buildings are far from the gate which might create issues.
- There is no such dislikable thing in college rather than the two.
Placement Experience:
Students can apply for campsuing from the 7th semester. As of now (december 2024) this year we got Google, oracle, HP, Visa, Tekion, phonepe and many other companies . Highest package was 48LPA and average will be like 10. Almost 50% student got placed till date and companies are constantly visiting campus.
My plans: I might go for higher education through GATE exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:
First year course is totally irrelevant except a few of the topics. I'm a CSE fresher why the hell are they making me study Distaster management, graphics and random physics chemistry topics. The course structure needs refurbishment according to latest industry requirement.

- Placement Percentage is very good as expected.
- Extra curricular activities like musics,sports are included in college.

- The classrooms are not that good and comfortable
- The no of students in each class for 1st year are very much .
Placement Experience:
Placement rate are very good .In 2024 according to news placement rate was about 90% and highest package is about 52 LPA.and average package of CSE is about 15LPA. There are many companies visited for placement like Nvidia, Microsoft, Infosys,TCS and many more.

Placements here are nice compared to local colleges , like i have seen many of our seniors getting a nice package about 60-70 lpa , and an avg placement with 19-21 lpa , overall this college gives 98? placements in cse branch

- NIT Agartala offers a robust curriculum with a focus on engineering and technology, backed by experienced faculty members.
Dislikes
- Compared to older NITs, NIT Agartala has a relatively smaller alumni network, which might affect networking opportunities.
- Being in Agartala, the institute may not have the same level of industry exposure and opportunities as NITs located in more industrialized regions
- Wifi facility is not good it's less than avarage in hostel. You have to use your own mobile data

The overall placement rate for UG and PG stood at 95.30% and 45.10%, respectively. The NIT Agartala highest package offered during 2023 placements was INR 52 LPA. The total number of offers made to UG students was 704. Further, 83 offers were distributed among 184 eligible PG students.

- The cultural Events and fests that takes place every now and then.
- The decorum the college follows towards the future of students.
- The Facultys expertise in respective field and understandable Teaching.
Dislikes
- The college is far from the city and explorable like others
- The half build infrastructure like swiming pool and etc
- Amenities is not quite nice as everything seems to be.[ex.food ,especially for south students]
Placement Experience:
The Students will become eligible for placements from 7th semester, Many of the companies will be visited and 80 percent of students are placed from the last year report, likely phonepe, Amazon, Goggle, Flipkart etc.. will be visited too levaing great oppurtunities for students.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala
- Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
- Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
- Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
- Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
- The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
- The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
- The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.
Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
