NIT Agartala from the perspective of a first year.

My branch is computer science and engineering.This branch offers a combination of software and hardware knowledge, making it highly versatile in today's technology-driven world. It provides opportunities to work on various domains such as software development, system architecture, data analysis, and more. Besides placements of cse here is quite astonishing.

The overall placement rate for UG and PG stood at 95.30% and 45.10%, respectively. The NIT Agartala highest package offered during 2023 placements was INR 52 LPA. The total number of offers made to UG students was 704. Further, 83 offers were distributed among 184 eligible PG students.

The fees are not skyrocket high as private college, it's the one of many privileges that you would likely to get in NITA. For the students whose family income is less than 5 lac , they will get a fees remission of 75% i.e they have to pay only 25% fee of the academic year. And the students having income less than 1 lac would get 100% fees remission. Besides there are other scholarship opportunities here like ishan Uday, PM SHRI, NER(north east student only) etc through NSP portal

If you come to NIT Agartala, then I garuntee you that you would experience and rich and fulfilling campus life. Cultural fests are likely to happen every now and then. The drama club, music club, debate club, robotics club and model United Nations organization club would give you the opportunities to develop yourself accumulate various social skills.

The hostels for 1 St and 4 th years can be called topnotch ( RNT hostel) in the entire campus.yet the bathroom and urinal facilities are not son clean. The cleaners don't do their work properly. When ever you come across the utility room you will be greeted with pungent smell. I don't know much about aryabhatta hostel( 2nd and 3 Rd year) . From what I have heard their condition is much worse than us. Their building is much old and looks a bit unsightly. The mess food is just average. Actually I would say much better than other government hostels. We have veg and non veg sections here. If you are not an picky eater the. You will be satisfied with it

I chose this because it's the best I could get with my jee rank. I was getting non circuital branches in other nits. But my interests lie in the CSE branch. Among the other colleges I was getting CSE, NITA had highest ranking and placement record . So I chose this.

Most of the faculties here belongs from home state. Due to it's location disadvantages outside faculties are less enthusiastic to come here. Yet all the faculties are very proficient and accomplished in their respective area. All the faculties are friendly and very easy to approach. A semister here consits of 2 tests 20 marks and 50 marks each. And internal marks is 30.
