Course Curriculum Overview

I am studying CSE in this college , for this course there is a special seperate building constructed recently , with nice interiors, professors are also good for this course , coming to placements there is a nice package for students from 19lpa to 70lpa

Class Size: 88Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Here we get various internship activities done from third year and projects are given to students based on which they get hired from the company , and as for getting internships they make internship co ordinator in each year to conduct internships by contacting the companies

Placement Experience

Placements here are nice compared to local colleges , like i have seen many of our seniors getting a nice package about 60-70 lpa , and an avg placement with 19-21 lpa , overall this college gives 98? placements in cse branch

Fees and Financial Aid

Myself Arya R a student in NIT Agartala , I would like to say that this is an wonderful collage with many cultural and technical fests, with extremely highly qualified techers and professors, this campus is fully covered in greenery and is pollution free campus

Campus Life

In this college apart from engineering there are multiple clubs like fac ,malhar,anima,dcc for students to involve in all types of co curricular activities and there are also business clubs for those who are interested in business

Hostel Facilities

There is a cupboard in each room and each room is allotted with two students and bathroom and toilet rooms are in each floor and common for the each student is that floor, coming to food section we get weekly 4 times chicken and 1 time egg , 1 time fish for non vegetarians and as for vegetarians we get panneer curry , veg cutlets, veg biriyani etc

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I opted thi college since this college comes under top 10 nits in india , and as you guys know that getting an nit and iit is a blessing for middle class families like me , with less fees for those who are not avle to afford and everything you need is inside the campus only like restaurants, haircutting shop,bakery,etc

Faculty

Students here get personal assistance from teachers and professors, they are available any time for students, exams are slightly up to level with a medium to difficult level , overall this college is one of the best in india

Night Life

There is firstclass library with nice interiors and a seperate gym for girls and boys , with several equipments for training , and there are multiple sports activity and compitions done here like football , volleyball, handball , cricket, badminton , table tennis, tennis, basketball , swimming, etc

Placement Experience:

As the NIRF ranking is going high year by year, companies are coming less and giving less preffer to NITA, Previous 2 years CSE, ME, CE students got 99% placement of avg. 8 LPA and one student got 1.2 cr off campus.

Eyeopener

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
