Environment will be very peace ful here in agartala

I don't like food here that will be not that good.
The will teach in hindi many faculty that may not be okay for everyone

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah I am from computer science and engineering...and the course was ok but compared to remaining campus here the course will be very slow... But more and best nits or iits will be very fast.... And that's it

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for national institute of technology Agartala is very low and it was around 20000 per year and the hostel fees was around 50000 per year and the food will good and friends will be also good..

Campus Life

The environment will be very pleasant and good infrastructure was also good but I am not that satisfied for the hostels but the thing I should remind is this is the government college so I should not expect much... We need to involve In many clubs like the clubs which are good not every club... That gives weightage to our resume...we need to study individually that helps a lott..

Admission

Because I only got this College in josa soo I have choosed this... If I got some other best nits then I may choose those... Even the NIRF ranking this year 2025 got very down for this college nit Agartala

Faculty

Faculty will ok actually good... But they will teach in hindi many faculty I don't know why but even we goo and complain them they won't be changed because they got habited to that.. and the faculty working in student administration they will be soo rude I don't know why these guys will be like that... They are working for us then they should help us...

Night Life

Night life was ok here... But the intime for girls to girls hostel Is very early compared to remaining nits... It was 7:30 pm we should go into the hostel... So there won't be much night life here in nit Agartala

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 7th semester. Some companies that visited our campus are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Infosys, Goldman Sachs, Axis Bank. Almost 80 to 90 % students get placed every year on campus.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester onwards we're eligible for placements. The companies visit here are Microsoft, Amazon, Phone pe, Paypal , physics wallah, Cloudera. Highest package was 56lpa and average was 18lpa. My plans are either getting to a company or giving GATE exam and securing a good IIT for Mtech

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: Learning, Living, and Growing

Placement Experience:

At NIT Agartala, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like JSW, TCE, Tata Power, Reliance, TCS, Infosys, and L&T visit, with average 6-8 lakh. About 70–80 percent of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to work in a software role.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
