They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

Good placements,internship opprtunities.

Likes

Lush green campus,good air quality,acceptable mess food quality,presence of numerous food and stationary kiosks all over the campus,good connecrivity to the city,dedicated hospital for the students and faculties inside the campus,sports complex
Shopping complex,Central library,Highly qualified faculties,relevance of course structure with industrial needs,proper placement facilities,clean hostels,internship opportunities.

Dislikes

Average placement package not that good with respect to tier 1 institutions,Hectic academic life,performance pressure.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester,students becoms eligible for on campus placements. Some of top companies include-Texas Instruments,HPCL,BPCL,Samsung,TATA companies,Google,Microsoft,Apple,Synopsis,etc. No. of offers made are always 800+ for 1000 students. Average package-Rs.9.5lpa Highest package-52lpa Profiles-mostly GET and SDE. More than 85% students get placed. Plans after degree-Get a job in core sector.

Good and Great

Likes

I like the faculties and their teaching which is too intuituive and fabulous.
I like the festivities happening over here ,dandya night, dj night,Cultural fest MOKSHA,technical fest AAYAM .
i also like the infrastructure since its in northeast its full of greenery and pleasant atmpsphere.

Dislikes

I dont like the sudden weather change ,during winters,rainy and summer.
i dont like the non spicy food over here,since i a spicy foodie
i m bit dislikable regarding the long walk from my hostel to the department and any branch.

Placement Experience:

My college is providing the internships and placements as well.This is much good compared to the state private colleges due to the NIT tag .If you study hard and try to be in a good cgp of 7.5+ you will get atelast in normal tier placmenet.

Nit agartala a life to remember

Likes

The vast campus and the hostels are nice too
The hospital takes good care for students
Even hospitals in the state have free treatment for nit students

Dislikes

College is in outskirts far from main city
Not many restaurants near and limited food option
Less general category students present there

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester the students are applicable for placement Amazon phonpe microsoft has visited our college and only this year 17 students were placed in phone pe 60 percent of students get placed My plans after getting a degree is to give gate exam

NIT Agartala Experience

Likes

the campus is lush , peaceful ,and well maintained.
Labs are equipped with basic tools and are regularly updated for core courses
Placement opportunities are robust with recruiters like Texas , Nvidia ,Microsoft , Google , HPCL , etc,

Dislikes

Hostel needs maintenance, especially for sanitation and wifi
The girls-to-boys ratio affects the diversity of social interactions
Being in a remote area , industrial exposure and accessibilty to major tech hubs are limited.

Placement Experience:

Students become elgible for internships straight from the 5th semester(3rd year) and for campus placement from 7th semester(4th Year). Companies typically look for acadmeic consistency, skills in technical domains Companies like Texas , Qualcomm , Samsung , TCS , Infosys ,MIcrosoft , Google , Cisco , Deloitte , ONGC , NTPC , HPCL , etc visits the campus for placements. Placement percentage for ECE is (85%)approx with an average package of 9-10 LPA.

Hidden gem in northeast

Likes

The college have very big sports complex
College faculty help in research oriented
Hostel facilitates homely environment and nature

Dislikes

The food provided not good as we compare to our home
The placements were ok but low packages compared to other institutions
The college is far away from city and all things we cant get

Placement Experience:

College placements were good as compared to tier 2 colleges and if I won't get placement then I'll try out of campus and also I'll prepare for higher studies and as well Im quite interested in startup and entrepreneurship

Life at NIT AGARTALA || Experiences, Challenges and and Opportunities

Likes

Infrastructure is very good, you can get a big campus with at max all requirements.
Academic level is too decent for a sophomore to score good scores they are absolute marking which helps students to score good
There will be shopping complex in the University itself and most of food of different cuisines and most of needy items will be available and you can also call for food delivery to hostel gate.

Dislikes

WiFi is bit bad in this college,they will provide only 2 gb per day which not sufficient always for a student
Hostel food is lagging it doesn't have minimum n requirements like daily bread, milk and so on. It It's just a basic mess good with avarage menu.
Boys to girls ratio is not so much good it will be around 4:1(4 boys and 1girl)

College placements are good in our college if we compare to secondary NITS and current outside career opportunities. It is obvious that the person who is more skilled is opt out in interviews. I hope our college is giving nice placements, but all the students are not in quality band to utilise it. If they use it correctly, they the college placements statics may be still good.

You can opt this institute without any worry if you do not have any better option.

Likes

Things I liked are ... friendly environment first of all, there is no strict senior junior culture.
As the campus situated at a village side area so I found peace and calmness.
I am getting opportunity to interact with different minds from different ends of India

Dislikes

What I most dislike is not having a good internet connection.
The placement cell needs to be more unbiased for all branches.
Infrastructure is good but not up to the mark if I compare with other NITs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are available. Some get pre-placement offers also. From 7 th semester campus placement starts. Some top companies are Google, Microsoft, paypal, amazon, nvidia, L&T, MRF, Infosys, wipro, asianpaints etc. Last year 52 LPA was offeref to 4 students during campus placement. Highest: 52lpa Average: 8lpa Percentage for cse: 100

College ki bate.

Likes

The campus is big and green and also the interaction with people from different parts of their country .
The clubs are a good place to showcase talent and gaining connections with seniors .
The sports complex is very beautiful and huge .

Dislikes

The campus is not as beautiful as it should be
The hostel food is literally a mess not good at all
The faculty should be revised as most of them don't teach like an actual professor

Placement Experience:

From 7 th and 8th semester you will be officially eligible for placements For major IT companies it will be phonepe , Paytm , TCS, infosys, and many more Other companies include Asian paints , MRF, Reliance , L&T,Tata steel,etc About almost 60% of the students do get placed at the coming of the last semester . My plans are not that special it's just get a job and lead a simple life .

Course Curriculum Overview:

First year course is totally irrelevant except a few of the topics. I'm a CSE fresher why the hell are they making me study Distaster management, graphics and random physics chemistry topics. The course structure needs refurbishment according to latest industry requirement.

All about NIT Agartala.

Likes

The college has a beautiful green campus.
Girls boys Ratio is also good which stands around 1:3
All types of lab for different branches are allowed and there are many M.tech and PhD scholars.

Dislikes

The main city is very far from here and availability of vehicles in emergency is very low.

Placement Experience:

Here from 7th semester students are eligible for placement. The placement scenerio is good. Many companies like Larsen and turbo, Tata powers, Deloitte come here to take students for placement drive and they get good package somewhere ranging from 7,00,000 to 20,00,000 per year. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 85%. And my plan is also to take a good placement.
