One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech

Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech

The hostel Life is amazing also the placements are decent.
The faculty is well versed and trained. It's great.

Mess food is not that good, it's like any other hostel food shown in movies.
The college is a little expensive and also the batch size is very big.
The placements can be better more and college can increase the percentage.
Placement Experience:
The student takes placement usually after completing the third year. Some exceptions get the internships PPO or ppo through Hackathons. There are various companies visit the campus for hiring. The batch size is big the placement is approx. %.80
Campus life is good there are a lot of trees in campus.
The campus size is huge and the buildings are well designed.
Students come from all over the world so there is diversity.

The weather in vellore is very hot and humid.
The college is very crowded there are almost 30k students.
Too much work load we have exams every 40 days.

For our course, we have placement in the final year and there are many companies that come for the placement. We have to write an aptitude exam for the placement only if we clear that exam we can set for placement.
I liked the college campus because they are fully green environment
I liked the faculty members they all are guided very well in the scoring and practical manner
I liked placement in VIT speciality is around 80%of the students are placed

I dislike the campus life during the function time
I dislike the infrastructure because Kenya comes the social issues
I dislike the placement when they are first preferred for topper students
Course Curriculum Overview:
In my course Electronic and Communication of Technology, it's very easy to learn in a practice manner in vit and my faculty members are guiding us effectively and clearly to score and gain more knowledge.
I liked of giving permission to go out for shopping every day through the time is limited, but not seen in every college.
The teaching methods are very good , quite impressive.
The campus is good because of infrastructure and it's greenness.
Dislikes
Campus life if you get holiday like one or two days you can't go out of town because it is a small town.
Placement Experience:
I think 7-semester students are eligible for placements after their internships. Maximum all companies visit campus. The highest package is 1 cr last year. It is a college that has a hundred percent placement. Currently, I am planning to get selected for a campus interview to bag a job opportunity.

if you are 9 pointer you dont need to sit in class and there is no 75% attendence rule for you.

the 75% attendance criteria is like a nightmare for many students.
the size of the campus is very big and sometimes you have to cover a long distance in short period of time.
the fee structure of vit is complicated and many cant afford it.
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent in my college with the average package of 8 lpa from the fourth year a student is eligible to sit for placements. here almost every company came for placements like google, amazon, and Microsoft and they nearly gave 30-1cr packages total of 98% of students get placed. My plan is to do masters in artificial intelligence.
Hostel is very good as it also provides AC rooms as in vellore the temperature is always high
Placement is great as nearly 900 companies visit here to hire students
Dislikes
In time for students in college is 7pm and hostel is 9pm

From 6th semester onwards companies will come to hire you.
There are many companies like Wipro, tcs with more than 2000 offers and cognizant, tech Mahindra with nearly 1000 offers and Microsoft, Amazon with more than 100 offers with nearly 35ctc and motorq gave an offer to two students with a 1.2 cr ctc.

Placement Experience:
we are eligible to be placed from the end of the pre-final year when campus placement drives occur and there is a good chance of getting placed from the college. The highest packages range from 1.5 to 2 cr / yr and the average is from 10-25 lakhs/yr.
FFCS system- Fully flexible credit system which allows you to choose your own timetable.
Plenty of opportunities are available in placements.

Very populated- VIT campus is very populated which degrades the quality.
Campus is very big which makes it very difficult to travel inside.
Irrelevant rules such as 75% attendance system, we have to be in hostels before 9pm.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Adobe, Google, Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, etc. Big MNCs offer generally packages to 2 -3 students. On the other side, IT service companies such as TCS takes students in bulk.
College was so interesting. Every day was much fun with friends attending all the classes
Infrastructure is so good that students feel relaxed when ever they feel like stressed
Faculty are also so good that they make a path for us through our the college life into a well settled job turning up us into great skilled workers

The timings to attend for the classes is little problematic

Almost 90 per cent of students get placed in our university. My plan is to get a decent package of salary in a good company.
