VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students, in general, are eligible for placements during the 3rd year (from the 5th semester} and have an excellent scope here. In 2020, 713 companies came, Total offers have increased up to 7771. The highest package was 44 LPA and the average package was 7.25 LPA

I have chosen CSE as the VIT was special for this branch. I don't know the exact student-faculty ratio but the faculty was quite enough to get an immediate response from faculty. As I have faced only online classes till now, I didn't know clearly about the teaching quality. We have to concern about the exams at VIT. The difficulty of exams was quite high and we have to maintain 75 percent of attendance. We have to do well to pass the exam. We cannot get pass by a single day of study as we thought in BTech life.

Students were eligible from the 5th semester itself. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, Bosch, etc visited the campus. average package was 2 lakh per year. nearly 70% of students got placed in different companies.

Students can sit for internships from the third year and can sit for placements from the fourth year. placements are really very good This year VIT has bagged a 75 lakh per annum offered from Dyte- VIT's own startup. Even Vit Bagged many Microsoft packages too. They are well decent and have an average package of 7-8 LPA.

Particularly for CSE, the placements are pretty good. Many MNC's come to give placements like amazon, Google, Microsoft, HP and many more give salaries up to 50 lakhs.90% of students get placed. The average salary is 6-7 lakhs. From the 6th sem that is the 3rd year, you are eligible to get placed. If you want to do a master's you can do a master's in any foreign university with the help of VIT as they have many bonds with different universities all over the world.

Many companies like Google, Microsoft, HP and many big companies come I have shared these name s as you might be aware of those names apart from those many companies come and provide quite good placements. 90% of students get placed. If you don't want to go for the placement you can also go for masters in other foreign countries and with the help of the university itself as they have bonds signed with other universities.

In CSE there are maximum placement companies like amazon, google, HP, Microsoft recruits student but for that, you need to have good CGPA. 90% of student gets placed and VIT also holds the record for max placement in Limca Book of record. If you want to do masters VIT can also help you in getting a masters degree through foreign universities.

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6-7 semesters. On our campus, many of the companies offered avg. 7lac/annum like Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Upgrad, Flipkart etc and many more. More than 80% are getting placed every year.

From the 5th semester companies start coming for internships and from the 7th semester, the company comes for jobs. Every company gives a handsome stipend and salary and everyone gets equal opportunities for applying and mostly students get placed with a package above 6LPA. About 150+ companies visited in the 5th semester which offer stipends above 40,000/- and CTC above 10LPA. The highest package offered in the year 2020 is 75LPA from an MNC and 25LPA from amazon and other big firms. Every student was trained well from the 5th semester for company interview rounds which made it easier to get placed with the right guidance.

3rd sem students are provided with internships. Many companies like Microsoft, dshaw,etc with offers of 1 lkm were made. Highest 2lkm and avg around 50000. 90% Startup or getting placed in a good tech company.
