I am in the computer science branch. I chose this course because I have to learn more in the Information technology field and explore more. Their faculty ratio is 1:40. MOSTLY teachers have a good 5-10 years experience and they teach good and in way that students understand every concept easily and practical classes are also arranged regularly. There was 3 IA(Internal Assessment) exam every month 21,22,23 consisting of 40 marks each. You can pass easily if you study for one week also.

Placements mostly occurs from seventh semester. A total of 850 companies visited in year 2021 and gave job opportunities to approx 5700 students with average package of 7.5 lakhs with highest ctc of INR 75 LPA

CSE degree in VIT is considered at par with all the other government colleges. Teachers are also good at teaching and will never disappoint you. Although many teachers are old (close to retirement age) and there are less number of young teachers. All teachers have Ph.D. degrees. The college conducts 2 unit dest of 15 marks each and a final test of 30 marks. Rest 40 marks depend on the teacher, some take 4 quizzes and some take 4 assignment submissions and some take combined of these. If paid attention in class you will score good marks easily.

There is a placement cell which brings lots of firms for placement mostly IT firms. Students are eligible for if they no arrears. Placement starts at your 7th semester. Highest package offered was 40 lakhs and lowest package was 3 lakhs.
