VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I was a computer science-interested student in my childhood. The college was fulfilling my demands to become a successful computer science data science engineer. The faculty-to-student Ratio is about 4:1. This college has 100% Ph.D. doctorate faculty. Most teachers are from IITs and NITs govt college of engineering. Two exams occur every semester i.e. Midterm and Final End term. It's very hard to crack those exams because of relative grading (Percentile based Examination). About 40% of students fail every semester because of this grading system. I managed to grade god in my first mid-term exams.

From the 5th semester, you will get internship offers and from the 7th semester, you will get placement offers. The highest package is around 1cr according to college officials and the average package is around 6 LPA. The college claims 90% of students get placed every year and many companies visit for placement. I plan to get a good job with package 15LPA or go for higher studies.

Talking about placements, the college provides really great opportunities if you are capable of grabbing it no one can stop you l. Like if you have skills you can also get a package of crores and if not then not even for 4lacs.

From the third semester. Mercedes, Infosys, intel, oracle. 1.2 crore and an average of 1200000 per annum. The percentage of the students who are getting placed is 90.25 percent. I would like to work hard for the company that hired me and help in the growth of my company and family.

From the seventh semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. A lot of companies come for hiring, The highest package offered was by MOTORQ in 2022 and the CTC was more than 1crore .then the highest package was CTC of 45 lakhs by Microsoft, and the 1 companies like Goldman Sachs, De Shaw, Amazon, Morgan Stanley provide a package of more than 25 lakhs. There are also companies like Deloitte that offer 9-10 lakhs of CTC. Then comes the mass recruiter like TCS, Wipro, and cognizant which offer a CTC of 5 - 6 lakhs. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed in VIT who are sitting for placements without any doubt. I would mostly prefer to do a job after obtaining the degree

Mostly from 6 sem placements starts, around 100+ companies visit and nearly 1000+will be made every year, the highest package is 1.2cr and the average package is 7.8L, mostly maximum number of people will get placed,

From 3rd year onwards one is eligible for placements. Many companies such as Wipro, Google, Microsoft, and TCS come for placements. Around 95 percent of students get placed in good companies. My plan is to start a startup on my own after getting out of college

Placement in vit is quite good, from 3rd-semester students become eligible for internship and after 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. A lot of companies visit vit, and more than 5000 offers are made. 1cr per annum was the highest offer. 90 % of students are placed during 5 semesters.

VIT tries its best to get all its students placed unless the students themselves are not interested. Students are eligible for placements as soon as they reach their fourth year i.e 7th semester. They are eligible for internships from the third year itself. This year, two students got placed for 1 cr package marking it the best placement in VIT history. Vit guarantees a 100% student placement. My plans after getting my degree are to get placed, do my job and complete an MBA.

From the 6th semester, the students are eligible for the placements if they complete the minimum Credits required. Every year nearly 700 to 800 companies visit the campus for the placements and internships like Microsoft, TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, and maximum all the MNCs visit the campus. The highest package offered according to this year's graph of placements is 1crore and the average package is 6 lakhs per anum. Every year nearly 90 percent of the students get placed but 10 to 20 percent of students opt for higher studies and Internal transfer programs. If I get the placement I will definitely opt for that and will try to excel in that field accordingly.
