VIT Vellore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements at VIT Vellore are excellent with students becoming eligible for campus placements from seventh semester itself. Top companies like Microsoft,Google, and TCS visit making numerous offers. The highest package is 2 crore and an average package 6.5 lakh

3rd year is when the students become elligible for campus placements. FAANG visits VIT Vellore 1.6 crore was the highest pachage recieved by a student. Almost every student recives placement. MBA will be my priority.

As my course is CSE, it allows me to interpret the real life problems that can be solved using programming languages. Our curriculum is best suited for acquiring knowledge and solving corporate problems. Suggest for improvement is that we can avoid theory paper for programming languages instead we can code in system. Frequency of exam and it's difficulty level is good

Course curriculum here is actually good according to me because they not only teaches us theoretically but they actually shows the things in practical labs also and every machine work really well in all the labs ,also there is a soft skills course sts subject,where they makes us placement ready by teaching all the interview preperation techniques, presentation, co.mmunication skills and all

From 5th Semester companies start approaching for summer internships before final year and then companies come throughout 7-8 semester for normal placements. There are around 500+ companies that visit including the Big 4 and IT sector giants. So there are plenty of opportunities available. Many startups also visit. There is 100% placement. The Highest packages goes beyond 40lpa. My plans are to sit for placements and work for 2 years and then go for masters.

The curriculum is very good and the course registration for every semester is based on individual choice the timings and the faculty. But the drawback is during the time of registration as all the students do it at a time we don't find proper time to make our choices in the way we want.

VIT vellore offers high placement rate with many students recieving offers before they graduate. 904 companies visited the campus for placements which recruited 14345 no. of students. The average CTC was 9.23 LAKH per annum.Total no. off super dream offers [ above 10 Lakh] were4461 and dream offers were 3453. Mass recruiters like TCS, wipro and infosys do hire the students.

Placements are good in our college as I can say 80% are being placed in jobs from 6th sem the students are eligible for sitting in placements. Some of the companies that visited are Amazon, TC's,WIPRO,Infosys and etc average package of the college is 9,00,000

From the 4th semester itself students become eligible. Vit also provide help to students who start their own startups under vit incubation . Many MNCs visit campus and placement ratio is also good. Mass placements also happen . Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, cognizant etc comes . Many other companies also come which provide good packages .higest package was in crores . Average package is around 6lakh to 10 lakhs per annum. Career council department also provides many courses to do during internship periods

VIT provides 100% placement to all the students . The highest package is 56LPA . The lowest package is 7LPA . The average package is 17LPA . Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, Flipkart , etc.
