Remarks

Eligibility for application is that you have to get above 75% in PCM on whole. Application form, application fees and application dates will be on VIT vellore official website. Application fee will be around 1200. Exam will be conducted only once in a year. This will be a center based online examination. You'll be writing for 125 questions in which 40 comprises of math, 35 for physics, 35 for chemistry, 10 for English and 5 for aptitude. Difficultly of this exam is moderate and it's easy to crack. Your admission will be totally based on your VITEEE exam rank. You will be divided into groups based on your ranks for the counselling process. Demanding groups like CSE will get over in group 1 itself. Counselling fee will be around 6000. If your rank goes above 1 lakh then you'll be only eligible for amaravati and bhopal campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

As my course is CSE, it allows me to interpret the real life problems that can be solved using programming languages. Our curriculum is best suited for acquiring knowledge and solving corporate problems. Suggest for improvement is that we can avoid theory paper for programming languages instead we can code in system. Frequency of exam and it's difficulty level is good

Fees and Financial Aid

Scoring good rank in VITEEE will surely help in reduction of fees. Actually VIT has 5 types of fees structure according to the rank in VITEEE from 1.9 L to 4.9L per annum. Scholarship can be availed only by scoring good rank in the entrance exam. There are only 5 slabs of fees structure and there wilk be no hike for every year. These above mentioned fees structures are only for tuition fees. Hostel fees are appart from this. As it a private institution, it costs more.

Campus Life

There will be 2 big events in our college. First one is Riviera which will be conducted in the month of February and it's the largest cultural fest in our college. It will be conducted for 4 days and other colleges are also welcomed to participate in the events. The second event is a technical fest which is Gravitas which will be conducted in the month of August and this event explains the clubs and chapters available in VIT for the freshers. Social life and extra circular activities are excellent in VIT

Faculty

Faculty- student bonding depends on the individual. Faculty will clear our doubts in his free time, so that we should go to his cabin and ask for the doubts. Faculties will also provide you some mini projects and be your mentor which is very useful. Most of the engineering students learn for their exam through youtube. Faculty will be friendly but their teaching is not that effective

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
