Good faculty: the faculty are well experienced and help students in better understanding
The students are eligible for placements after completing the 3rd year in the 4 year course with the good cgpa, many companies like zoho, amazon etc.
The scholarships are good, try to score good marks in the first semester, because the college will check your marks.

Dislikes

We have nsp scholarship support fron college college fees 450000 per year hostel fees 100000 per yesr fees structure is quit higher no financial assistance no stipend from college side no campus for bds.
I don't like the central library in our college, and i don't like one thing that there is no stage in our college
The hostel room are not good and water facilities in hostel is not good

The originality of the college

Likes

I need no improvement in these colage as all was good
I have been well settled with this colage campus
All the faculty was good enough for teaching

Dislikes

The hod have been behaving rude for the students
They were not celebrating holi ,pongal functions
Some kind of rowdyism where also found inside the campus

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester the students where eligible for placement and students are getting good companies land the names of the company visited our colage is hcl ,cognizant ,oracle, amozon 93 percent of students where getting placed every year I will going for placement

In my colage the improvement I need is to plant trees
All teachers were good and they have been talented

They make us to. Walk in sun because of no trees

Students struggle in Sathyabama

Likes

Free buses from our college to all over tamilnadu
Free food for hostelers and day scholars in afternoon
No outers allowed to campus without any valid proof

Dislikes

Food taste is very worst new students can't eat
Hostelers are very worst water problem in hostels
Buses are over crowded in local areas they didn't extend buses

Likes

The advance studies block, which is a new block

Dislikes

The poor maintenance of other blocks and classrooms
Very poor maintenance of restrooms. Especially for boy's
Some teachers, doesn't know how to teach itself

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards placements will starts, and placement training eventually starts from 2nd year itself, and percentage of students getting placed is not as much as the college shows, some students got selected by companies with high packages

They Provide Food for every student and staff for free during Lunch
The Bus Facilities All over chennai is completely free for All the Students and Staffs
They Encourage Students With New Innovations for Startups and Also even help in Funding for their Ideas... The Boy Girl ratio is 3:2

Dislikes

The Campus is So Big...So I personally felt they Should allow students to use cycles
I used to play cricket professionally but here there is no importance for Cricket and other sports activities
Nothing Much More Negatives for me Personally

Placement Experience:

Placement Training is Offered for Students from the second year itself and it will cost around 15000 per year and the Training a given by completely experienced Professionals...And More than 3000 to 3500 students gets placed Every year

I like the food actually, in Sathyabama mess food is available to everyone. So for lunch everyone can go and eat. Then other thing i liked is the culturals they conduct every year. The best culturals will be conducted here.

I dont like the fee structure, i feel this is more for what they are offering. i think not everyone can afford here. As the yearlt fee is increasing every year. Also the hostel fees. Compared to when i joind the fees vs the fee now for the IT have in

Overview of SATHYABAMA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

The first thing is placement , Sathyabama provides good placements as the average of 300000 LPA and it goes to 70 LPA
The food ! This collage provides quality food in free of cost for all 6 days in a week which is good for hostelers as well as dat scholar students . Both VEG and NON-VEG will be provided
Events people who are intrested in extra curricular activities , this collage will be an great option , events will be conducted every week and students are also allowed to participate in out side college events .

Dislikes

the class room , they are good but the is no AC in classes only computer science students are provided with AC
Hostel students are not allowed to go outside after collage only on the weekend permission is granted (same for boys and girls)
rules are strictly followed and students will be punished

Placement Experience:

pacements are better than students think but also depends upon student intrest and skills , the average of 3LPA will give provided and mostly cse and IT students get placed . college will also provide internships for students from 3rd year and placement classes will be taken for students to crack the placements . workshop will be conducted for every department students , no charges will taken . college also has 30+ clubs and NCC .

I liked the college environment vey well
I liked the quality of food in sathyabama university
I liked the events conducted by our college

I didn't liked the fee of hostel as it is very high
I didn't liked the quality of maintain buses in our college

It is not a college it like a school

Likes

Food , parking facility, inforsturcture and library facilities
There is equal form teacher for all students
They constructing the new building for advance study students

Dislikes

There is no sports facilities in our college
They have not gave importance for sports and other extra activities.
There is no event for overall students they keep only culture for yearly onces

In these year only they start a placement training form second year itself and placement start for 3 year students in 6 semester I know only like some company like Infosys,tcs,HCl,techno etc In our department last year 90+% students placement Get placed in college otherwise get job by myself

Likes

I like the food provided in here in the mess hall
I like the faculties here they are friendly
And the students are so good , and infrastructure is so good

Dislikes

I tell bad about the canteen in day time its very open area so sunny
And the hostel too bad in this college better to change
Water drainage system is too bad when rain comes it is to tough to handle
