Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Tamil Nadu B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Des Selection Process:
The institute offers admission to the courses solely on the basis of the marks secured in the All India B.E/B.Tech./B.Arch. Entrance Examination conducted by the Institute itself.
The candidates will be shortlisted and called for Counselling, based on their performance in the entrance examination. On the day of counseling, the branch of study will be allotted depending on the availability of seats and provisional admission order will be issued on the same day after collecting a counseling fee of Rs.50,000/-.
Sathyabama University UG Admission 2024
The university offers several Undergraduate level courses in the streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, Business Studies, Education and Medical Sciences.
The course duration of B.A.,B.Sc, B.Com, BBA programmes are three years while the Bachelor’s degree in Dental Sciences (BDS) is offered for a period of five years. The duration of B.Ed course is one year.
The admission to all the Undergraduate programmes is done purely on the basis of the performance in the All India Entrance Examination conducted by Sathyabama University.

APPLICATION FORM (PHYSICAL MODE):
- Eligible candidates can get the application form on payment of Rs. 1000/- at Sathyabama University Campus
- Application forms may also be obtained through post by sending a request letter (candidate’s mailing address should be mentioned clearly in capital letters with pin code number, mobile number and E-mail ID) along with a demand draft for Rs.1100/- drawn in favor of Sathyabama University, payable at Chennai. This request letter should reach on or before the due date to “The Co-ordinator, Entrance Examination, Sathyabama University, Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai-600 119”
APPLICATION FORM (ONLINE MODE):
- Candidates can also use online submission of application which is available on the official website.
- Candidates opting for online submission should fill the application and verify all the details entered. After the verification of the details, online payment of Rs.1000 should be made either by using Net Banking Facility/Credit Card/Debit Card or offline payment (only by Indian Bank Challan mode) at any one of the INDIAN BANK branches
- The candidates who have submitted the applications through online mode need not send any printed forms/account statement/bank or institution challan copy etc. unless otherwise requested by university authorities. I choosed this college because the name sathyabama having good reputation and categorized as top colleges in india. Yes I was rejected by Loyola college for B.Tech it since I was not able to pay the capitation fee. But when I came to sathyabama, they provided an opportunity to shine and grow. I came via scholarship so I didn't attended any exams.

the eligibility of the course and college is that of a minimum of 70 percent marks in higher secondary education and there is a separate quota for NRI students and many exchange programs. I have applied to this college as regards its teaching proficiency in the selected course, research support, expertise faculties, and staff.

My college is famous for its placements. They'll provide you placement training from second year itself. Most of the people come here because of the 100 percent placements. For taking admission in my college you should sit for SAEEE entrance exam.

I applied to srm they were also ready to take me in but the fee structure was much better than srm structure soo i chose this college over others . There is quota for one is the entrace exam one where the fee is less and the other one where we have to pay extra to the college

I opt this college because the fact that i did not get the colleges i wanted. So thats the reason but aprt from that i had sathyabama Institute Of Science And Technology in my list of colleges. Reasons for choosing sathyabama is the rules here. No strict rules or dress code.

This college has a lot of placement opportunities as well as higher studies. And being one of the top 70 colleges in India helped me choose this college during admission. The admission process conists of an entrance test that allows for fees waivers in scoring a good rank in it.

How can you get admission in Sathyabama University and Hindustan University?
As a B.Tech CSE student at Sathyabama University, I can tell you about my branch and my university.
I got in through management quota, the other way is entrance. I booked my seat before my 12th result by paying 50k and providing my 10th marksheet. For this, I visited the university in March after my public exam. After your 12th result, you can visit and confirm your seat. You’ll get in even with low marks in class 12th. The fee is around 2 Lakhs per year, but the infrastructure and other facilities are good.
Through entrance, you’ll need a rank below 3000. Still, it isn’t sure that you’ll get CSE. CSE seats are completely filled in the first counseling round itself.
