Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is good overall, but the teaching methods can be improved very much both theoretically and practically , many didn't have projectors also.. students can be taken to more good IVs, and exam timing is not followed mostly

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 245000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester onwards placements will starts, and placement training eventually starts from 2nd year itself, and percentage of students getting placed is not as much as the college shows, some students got selected by companies with high packages

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year - 245000 2nd year - 205000 3rd year - 205000 4th year - 205000 For 2024 batch it has been increased to 350000 for 1st year, 320000 for next year's. Some Scholarships are available for women students.

Campus Life

The library is mostly of subject books and some examination books. The culturals will be conducted for each batch till the pre final year The technological provisions of most of the classes are poor. There are many good clubs in the college

Admission

I have passed the VITEEE exam, but the fee structure was very high for my category excluding the transport fees, so as a next option I have choosed Sathyabama because of its ranking and accreditation.

Faculty

Some faculties are not good in teaching and also in the communication with students, while others are actually good and friendly. Sometimes the exam questions will be asked out of the syllabus or totally different, which the faculty hadn't taught the students, and correction of paper is also sometimes poor, they don't afford full marks even for the correct answers.

Night Life

I'm not a hosteller, hostel students have outing limits and gate passes , at night time the college environment will be actually good. It is located in main city,so many shops, malls and restaurants are located in surrounding

Placement Experience:

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. i was already studied diploma in electrical and electronics engineering so my course selection was based on that. the college which i have studied is 90% is absed on the old theory ony they are teaching the the latest thing. the internal exams will come twice in a semester and based in that your internal mark will upload.

Sathyabama and it's perks

I had applied to SRM University also , I gave exam and I got the seat for less fees , i would have gotten it if my 12th pcm percentage was a bit higher , it was 60 percent but I had 54 , so yes that's what went wrong and how I couldn't get into SRM, then I check colleges for mine found sathyabama was a better option , I saw cresent too but I didn't like that atmosphere I felt sathyabama was better ( it's just personal preference ) , Admission process at sathyabama is fairly easy , u can go to the college they will tell you the course select ur course they will tell the fees applicable to u , it might fluctuate by time , then u fill the forms and required documents and pay the fees.
