Likes

Good faculty: the faculty are well experienced and help students in better understanding
The students are eligible for placements after completing the 3rd year in the 4 year course with the good cgpa, many companies like zoho, amazon etc.
The scholarships are good, try to score good marks in the first semester, because the college will check your marks.

Dislikes

We have nsp scholarship support fron college college fees 450000 per year hostel fees 100000 per yesr fees structure is quit higher no financial assistance no stipend from college side no campus for bds.
I don't like the central library in our college, and i don't like one thing that there is no stage in our college
The hostel room are not good and water facilities in hostel is not good

Sathyabama Dental College- A review from an insider

Likes

Faculty experience was satisfactory as they are all experienced and well educated
The campus is big spread across many acres
Anti Ragging committee, student welfare and extracurricular activities are also appreciated

Dislikes

Dental College Restroom infrastructure needs bit more maintaince
Instruments and machines need regular maintenance
Patient Flow need more attention and the overall maintenance

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i chose is Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) I chose this degree as i wanted to pursue in medical field and be a part of the medical society and profession. Any amount of curriculum will not suffice the experience needed to face the real world as each and every patient is different. Areas of improvement would be inculcating modern usage and technology in the field and hands-on experience

A go through before choosing your college

Likes

Good knowledge of faculties needs to be appreciated
Good practical knowledge was implemented
Encouragement of various extracurricular activities and programs

Dislikes

Patient flow was not as expected, it was quite difficult to complete the quota
Too far away from the city , travelling was very much tiresome
Infrastructure and food quality was not up to the mark

The curriculum is more basic and needs to be improved . It needs to be more advanced to compete with the advancements surrounding us . Teaching methods could be even more innovative and useful to the students . The exam level was easy to moderate .

Life at Sathyabama Dental College

Likes

I like the teaching style and faculty members friendly approach towards the students
I like BDS because it was my passion to be in medical field
I like their infra structure and it will be neat and clean

Dislikes

They will torture us to pay the fees before the final exam. If we didnt pay the next year fees before the previous year final exam they wont allow us to write exam
No sports or extra curricular activities was conducted in the college
They will give more quota and they wont allow us to focus us on theory exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was interested in medical field. Course was very difficult and needed practical skills. faculty members was very friendly and they teach very well. Exams was divided into 3 internals and final exam with all the portions from the first. Final exam will be very difficult because it covers all the portions and we will not have to read because we have to focus more on quota and practical work.

Likes

College has good library with lot of useful books
College has good mess for food with better south indian foods
College has good facilities with good infrastructure

Dislikes

College will get flood during heavy rain
College and hostel fees are quit more than other
College needs some improvement for best list

I like dentistry so I choose this course Faculties are good and helpful Qualifications for the Faculties are mds and above College have good planning term exams which held 3 times in a year Difficult to clear

The choice of this college is for its best teaching way and for more inpatients and for more of their practical knowledge. The faculty is very much experienced and talented. The way they make us understand is too good.

Sist was an amazing place to acire and admire knowledge over the students , staff and other so like the teachers are so friendly and they will handle all our attrositity and nottynes and they handle and. Make us in good manner like stone into scriptures they are plenty of thinks to learn but it has some block but by this college has s till we can acquire all skills and learn many from them and cls and lunch and all other was good comparing with others. And we have lot of other state members

I'm a final year ECE student at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, and my experience has been truly wonderful! The faculty are highly qualified and supportive, always encouraging students beyond textbooks. Labs are well-equipped with regular practical sessions. The placement cell is very active with top companies like Amazon, HCL, Cognizant and Wipro visiting campus. Highest package was 41 LPA. Cultural fests and technical events make campus life vibrant and enjoyable.

Really liked the college overall ???? The campus and environment are good, and placements are pretty strong which is a big plus. Hostel facilities are not great, but they’re manageable—not too bad. Overall, a good experience!

I am currently studying at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. The university has a good campus with modern infrastructure and well-equipped labs. The faculty members are supportive and help students in academics as well as skill development. It also provides good opportunities through technical events, clubs, and placements. Overall, it offers a positive learning environment for students.
