SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The curriculum is just like any other private engineering college like VIT and PES. It's not up to industry standards and most of the subjects are not needed in the industry. Real time projects and industry training is not given importance.

The placement are very good and the students studying 6th semester are eligible for placements and the placements percentage of greater than 90% the famous companies that visit our college of TATA,TCS,ZOHO,JOHN DEERE,AMAZON etc.

one of the things srm is known for and is preferred for over other tamil colleges is due to the vast placement options. last year there was 70% placement and last to last year 100% placement was recorded. you become eligible to sit for campus placements from the 7th semester. There are a range of companies that come to srm for placements including microsoft, amazon, razorpay ibm wells fargo, bank of america, natwest, hp, dell, delloite, cognizent, capgemini, tcs and mitsubishi etc. the list is bigger but these are the major companies that come. The highest average package recorded was 10 lakhs with the highest package last year being 55lakhs. most students coming to srm come with the clear intention of getting placed. i plan to sit for placements too. Since there is a high number of students in the btech degree there is very high competition too for placements.

Mainly good yeaching faculty and nirg ranking attracting and aspect is the curriculum that influenced our decision to choose this course and this course is very logicaland scope in future that why choose this course

The placements in srm university are impressive and with a strong focus on preparing students for industry.the university is tie ups with leading companies.the placement cell is proactive and conducting training sessions,mock interviews and skills development for companies.

The placements of my college is average just because the number of students is too much.From the 6-7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.As SRM is a big college many multi national companies visit the campus for placement.Average Package is near about 6-7LPA. Near about 80% students get placed which is pretty good keeping in mind the number of students.Companies which visit the campus for placements are accenture infosys tcs jp morgan chase and co. deloitte bank of america and many others.

Placements are decent when considering the intake of students. Almost all students are placed mostly in mass recruiting companies like TCS and Accenture. Placement drives start from the 7th semester..

There are good quality staffs with good experience in the field to give good knowledge in the subject. The curriculum is well fit for the real world challenges and applications. Need improvement in practicals.

Specific aspects of the curriculum that influence by my decision to choose this course for to surve the world and work is precious jobs to helping mind The time shortage will lead the course and consist of the huge syllabus The improvement of the teaching methods are good Yes there is more difficulty I faced during exam time

I'd rate the curriculam as moderately relevant and comprehensive it covers core topics but lack focous onemerging industry trends real world application could be better exams are bisemestee moderately difficult.
