IIT Ropar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course covers the topic in-depth and clears your concept about that topic. The teaching method might seem old to you but you have to deal with it. The faculties are helpful. Exams happen every 2 months and the difficulty level is decent.

After completionof third year student can start applying for placements . There is a special placement cell that invite companies for campus placement like google , facebook, microsoft etc. And hishest package as I know is 84 lpa this year. And almost 96 percent student get placement. If not they can later apply for job .

Our college provides very good on campus placements. The average package of CSE dept. is around 28 lpa. Almost 100% students get placed from CSE dept each year. The highest package is 65lpa in campus.

Our institute provides placement opportunities from seventh semester Every placement season around ninety percent students get placed from campus itself with an average package of twenty lakhs and highest package may range between fifty lakhs to seventy lakhs. I plan on pursuing a corporate carrier after my degree.

Placements at IIT Ropar are very good as it possesses a high average package and also has good top placements. Many companies visit our college at the time of placements and students get eligible after the seventh semester for a proper placement and for the internship the student gets eligible after fourth semester. Here almost everyone gets placed in the institute placements making 100% of all. After getting the degree, I am planning to prepare for civil services. Being from a family where everyone is employed in government sector I also want to serve the country.

After the 6th semester internship program starts and students can work on different projects alongside. The companies that visit the college are Google, Texas Electricals, Amazon, Facebook, gigabyte, Nvidia, etc. The college placements percentage is approx. 88%. The highest package is around 55 lakhs and the minimum. Package Is around 6 lakhs. After my degree, I want to start a business related to electrical engineering.

from the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In the CS branch, various companies visited our campus like Oracle, American Express, Google, Microsoft, etc. Last year highest package for college was 55 lakh and the average package was around 28 lakh. around 85 percent of students getting placed. I am interested in research after getting the degree.

Students will be eligible for campus placement during their 4th year and internships during their 3rd year. A lot of companies visit here like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, imb, lnt, and a lot. They also make a placement offer here. Around 70-80 percent of students get their jobs after placement.

After 7-8 semesters students become eligible for campus placements many companies visit the campus like Google, IBM, OLA, etc highest package is 63 lacs and the average package for CSE is 28 lacs. In CSE approximately average 93 percent of students get placement. I should opt for doing the job for good earnings or any kind of start-up.

As currently I am in 1st year, don't have much idea about the placement, interns, and companies visiting. But the stats of previous year are quite impressive and growing fast.There is also a organisation CDPC entirely for placement related topics.
