First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Likes

The fests or events of our college are good.
Campus life is also nice.Peers are good here.
Placement for CSE branch is also good as compared to others.

Dislikes

The connectivity to the city is not much good.
Some hostels condition is not much good.
Academic pressure is also there in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is well-educated. Some of them have graduated or post-graduated from IITs. Most of the teachers follow the hybrid teaching method of using PPTs and teaching on the blackboard. The exams are conducted twice in a semester.

NIT J at a glance.

Likes

Gym is great with every necessary equipment.
Most of the Professors are understanding.
No ragging is allowed. Our seniors are very good in nature.

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not that good for the sports.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students can apply for internship, college provide attendance to the respective student during the internship period. Many companies visit our campus like Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, etc. The highest package is around 62 lpa and the average package is around 13 lakh. 85-95% of students are placed and others pursue MTech or apply abroad etc.

Likes

College exposure is great and have good sports facilities
This college is raging free and seniors are helping.
Mess and hostel staff is very helpful and nice.

Dislikes

There is a strict 75% attendance criteria

Placement Experience:

Btech computer science has great placement opportunities and 90% students are getting placed . Amazon, Microsoft, oracle and many more companies made visit for placements . The eligibility criteria for placement is about 8cgpa

REMOTE NITJ

Likes

Only eatery good is NESCAFE. The food quality is just wow

Dislikes

The faculty is very strict and holding too attitude despite the performances.
College location is very remote which makes it very uncomfortable for the students to travel

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, and PayPal came this year for placements though Oracle took almost all the girls' students for placements. The average package is around 15lpa

NITJ Expectation vs Reality

Likes

Some teachers who are eager to help you in any case and obviously the night life of hostels.
Placement is decent not so worry about that
Infrastructure is developing not yet completed but still good

Dislikes

Many teachers just come to complete syllabus
No facilities to teach you about particular sports
Campus is very small so sometimes it irritates

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B. Tech in CSE is my dream field and of course, it gives the highest package among all other branches. The ratio of faculty: to students is good. The exams happen timely and it is not much tough to pass these exams.

NIT JALANDHAR Appears much more than it is

Likes

Campus Greenary and overall cleanliness and ragging free environment.
Organises small events from time to time. And Fests from time to time which relieves boredom
Seniors are freindly and share their experience with yiu and guide you. Mes staff and Hostel staff is also friendly.

Dislikes

College is much below what you expect from a National Level College
Old lab equipments and old Library. Small Campus
Situation of Faculty is quite alarming especially in the major subjects

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for Campus Placements from the 6th semester. Companies like Google, Flipkart, Microsoft Paytm, etc. Visits and around 750 offers were made to 950 eligible Candidates out of which around 700 were placed. The percentage of Students Placed is around 73% with the Highest and Average packages of 51LPA and 11.6 LPA. After getting my degree I will be a software Engineer / Web Developer.

In terms of placement our college nit Jalandhar stands in a good position the average is about 18 lpa for cse department and it provides equal opportunity for all other branches and placement team is also very helpful.

Amazing campus life experince with a lot of greenery in campus
Amazing sports fests organized by college

Dislikes

More number of classes should be there. As there are many batches from 2023
Faculties could be increased in nimber as 2 batches are included in many classes

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in the 4th semester itself. Big companies like Samsung Microsoft, and adobe visit the campus and hire students. The highest placement is 1,24,00,000 in the year 2021. In 2022 highest package is 54,00,000

Overall a decent college for setting up your life.

Likes

The new infrastructure that is now made.
Th activites of various clubs for recreation.
The large size of the campus which is applaudable.

Dislikes

The difficulty level of the exams which come.
A lot of burden of assignments and practical files.
Old infrastructure of the hostel buildings.

The placements are very good from the past years. The maximum package was 78 cr last year and the average package of the computer science branch was 28 lpa whereas that of our branch was 19 lpa which is. A pretty decent package.

I mostly like the greenery campus of the college
Location of the college is very accurate and easily reachable
Here seniors are very cooperative with juniors, you facilities are more strict there is no seen like regging

Dislikes

Few faculties are more strict with fresher students
Your life became very busy from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
