First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Let's visit NIT Jalandhar

Beautiful infrastructure and campus life, different sports opportunities as I am in cricket club.
Different clubs are there to follow your passion and hostel facility is also good.
Placement is decent, good coding culture, helping seniors and good teaching staff and also decent girls boys ratio .

Dislikes

Campus area is 155 acres , that is good but it should be more .
Criteria of minimum 75 percent attendance required to sit the exam. It should be lowered
Location of campus is outside the city. For any activities outside the campus is not much possible as outside chill.

Placement Experience:

The percent of placement in nit Jalandhar is good. It has a good aluminni network and many companies visit every year. Here placement and internship is given by top companies as Microsoft, Google , samsung etc. one can take internship from 3rd year. In CSE placement percent is upto 99%. The highest package till now is 1.2Cr and average package is about 17LPA. Off campus placement are also offers to students. I am in 1st year. After completing my degree my plan is to get a good placement in tech companies in AI and ML field.

I liked the way fests takes place and we enjoy a lot

Dislikes

I didn't like the way some show partiality towards north indians

Placement Experience:

The Placements of our College are good .from 6 th sem we can start applying for internships . Campus placement start in 4 th year . So many companies give offers and highest package is 1.3 crores like that . Percentage of students getting placement is like 97 and chance of girls for placement is more as there are only some girls students present in the cse group every year

NIT Jalandhar- Pros and Cons

Likes

The weather and vibe and greenery. Its near to my hometown
My friends and colleagues from school are here so they make me feel like home
The placement opportunities and the respect level

Dislikes

Strictness like i mentioned earlier we are not allowed to sit in dark areas and we have to be inside our shitty hostels before 10 pm
Hostel quality and worse canteens also the number of canteens
Building infrastructure. Some classes dont even have AC

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since i am currently in first year and i always had the dream to code something big since the 9th standard. i had developed many bots for instagram and whatsapp which made me crave to be a computer science engineer and hence i opted for this course Till now the curriculum has taught me 2 programming languages along with 2 core subjects. The core subjects have helped me to understand the basic root of how computers work to the best level. It fascinates me that i have learnt the subejct of digital circuits and logic design According to me the curriculum should remove the useless subjects like Workshop Engineering, Engineering drawing, environmental studies, management principles etc also the 75% attendance criteria should also be removed lol the exams are conducted twice per semester and i feel it very genuine

The campus at placement is good. Almost all the students get placed from most of the branches. The branches such as CSE,IT.and ECE have 100% placement records Some famous companies which visit our campus are Microsoft, Amazon, oracle, Salesforce etc. But however the placement for the current batch is suffering due to the recession

Likes

campus environment is good. seniors are ecofriendly
no ragging. ragging is strictly prohibited
fests are very good. faculty members are very good

Dislikes

minimum 75% of attendance is mandatory for all students
only high cgpa matters students are running forgetting cgpa
college does not help you in getting internships abroad

Placement Experience:

for 7 th semester students are eligible for campus placements. companies like wipro,ibm,amazon,flipkart etc will come for placements. average packages will be 5 LPA. 60 % of students are getting placements

Honeslty, there is nothing which is likeable.
sun, moon, cloud are my favorite in campus.
water, tree, birds are also my favorite in campus.

Dislikes

everything, honestly everything about this college.
class, teachers, classroom, tables, faces.
toxicity, mess food, staff, warden, and everything.

- Faculty member are not too good because they try to pressurize you through out the year, semester. - They try to use as money plant and not give proper education. - Curriculum needs an updation and changes.

Life at NIT JALANDHAR

Likes

The club culture here and the activeness of clubs
The classrooms are decent and gives comfort to study properly
All the required items and facilities of day to day are available in the college campus only

Dislikes

The cleanliness in few particular areas is not good
4 sharing rooms in first year,the rooms are designed for 3 students
Few professors,as they have good knowledge but not good teaching styles

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 6th semester, the companies start visiting and one can sit for placements. Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and TCS visit the college and many startups visit with good offers. 85%students get placed and the rest also by the end of the 4th year to are placed in any company. Highest package 50 lakhs, The average package is 12 lakhs, My plan is with the skillset of mine to get employed and start an IT services company and eventually work time in the business.

Divine into college

Good coding and supportive culture of the college, as senior are very supportive and tells us about what's good for us in future and also gives us idea about the competition.
In campus there are students from all over the country , so we can improve social skill and can have taste of each and every culture.
In hostel there are good wifi speed and there are washing machine in each floor , so it's saves our time and we can invest it for upgradation of skill.

Dislikes

Library is very conjusted , the capacity is very less as compared to the strength of the college and there is no sockets for laptop charging.
In hostel, the hostel staff are very less attentive as there are many types of insects but they do not take any action.
College is very far from the city so it's very time consuming for us to go and buy any item

Placement Experience:

After the 7th sem, students are eligible for placement. There are several companies visiting our College, the data is more precisely given on our college website and the placement percentage is also good. Our highest package is 1.2 crore offered by Amazon and the average package of my stream is 16.4 lac also the percentage of students placed is above 90 percent. My plans after getting my degree are to be placed in a good company and gain some experience and then go for a startup.

Good college

Likes

In my college ragging is parmanent close and if someone is find is taking ragging is giving fine and In action .
Campus is small so all departments are find out in early.
The campus is cleaning and many fest are in my college

Dislikes

Teachers are very strict and not giving easy marks
The sports facilities are not good campus ground is not good
In hostel the lift are not working in different sections.

Placement Experience:

In my college placements are good in average package in computer science is 16 lakh and the high package of my college is 1.5 crore in ece branch taken in 2021. There are many top companies visiting my college just Infosys and Oracle, Microsoft.

My beloved College

Likes

Sports fests and competition in college are great.
The clean and green scenery of college is great.
Technical fest and hackathon provide great exposure.

Dislikes

Lot of assessment and assignments is hectic in college life.
Useless strictness are really bad and heavy fines for silly things.
75% attendance criteria is very hectic in college.

Is mechanical and electronics in NIT Jalandhar as good as CS in the same college?

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
