Course Curriculum Overview

There is a 75% attendance criteria. Now the exam schedule has changed and we have midterms and final exams. There are 20 marks for internals which is provided by taking the quiz. The faculty is well experienced and good.

Class Size: 135Course Fees: INR 1890000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The training and placement cell eagerly invites companies and contact them on LinkedIn regarding internship and placements. Teachers are also providing mini projects and freelancing projects to a lot of students.

Placement Experience

Btech computer science has great placement opportunities and 90% students are getting placed . Amazon, Microsoft, oracle and many more companies made visit for placements . The eligibility criteria for placement is about 8cgpa

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study is about 12 lakhs for completion of graduation. There is also special relief for SC, st students and general students whose family income is less than 5 lakh. There are so many scholarship and loan opportunities.

Campus Life

There is a healthy relationship with seniors. This college is raging free and strict actions have been taken against students who us involved in these activities. The sports and technical exposure of this college is great.

Hostel Facilities

There is hostel accommodation for those who are 100 kms away from college. Hostel has a lot of rooms in different variants with 1/2/4 students in one room. Mess and hostel accommodation fees is 25k per semester .

Admission

The admission process was well-detailed and easy. I got admission through the jee exam. The general cut-off was 12000. The college has a reservation quota and everything is provided on the college's official website. So everything was fine

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

NIT JALANDHAR

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
