First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

NIT JALANDHAR REVIEW

Likes

wifi is good and speed is pretty decent and provided at all locations in campus
there are night canteens available open till late night
library is full of interesting books and we get full access of library

Dislikes

maintenance system is poor and documents work is very delayed
campus location is in outskirts so sometime students find it difficult to reach
limited accommodation is available so students have to face difficulty

placements are pretty decent average package of college is 14lpa and major recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and Wipro and there is training and placement which help students in getting placements.

NIT JALANDHAR- Require some changes

Sports facilities at our college are good
Various fest and cultural events held regularly
Various academic clubs are there which enhance your learnings

Dislikes

Teachers are not upto the marks. Mostly teachers even don't have basic knowledge of there subject
Mess food can be better but it is always same .
There are not so much help sections and nobody listens to you

Placement Experience:

Brilliant Students grab the off-campus opportunities on their own in the second year. In the third year CSE, IT, and ECE got internship opportunities. Placements are good in top branches all students get almost placements. The average package vaies from branch to branch.

Truths about the NITJ

Likes

Campus life, Environment, Placements, hostels etc
the classrooms are big and centrally cooled, labs are updated,
There are various canteens and other areas to explore

Dislikes

college is on the outskirts of the city so difficult to visit the city
Mess food sometimes does not taste good

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good for the computer science branch with an average package of 1600000/- and also good for other branches. The companies come in last year for the PPO and also the placements. Some of the famous recruiters are Microsoft, google, amazon, Flipkart, oracle etc.

Food is not good than expected, collegee
College is out of city so difficult to visit city and shopping malls

Placement Experience:

After 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placement. Physics wallah, Asian paints, Deloitte, Microsoft, TCS, and Infosys offer approximately 300 jobs in total. Almost 80 % of students placed, I want to work in the company.

What's inside NIT Jalandhar? [Ground Report]

Likes

The way of teaching is really good
Hostel staff is very friendly and caring.
Senior are fun to interact with. You can rely on them.

Dislikes

The campus is really small you can't stroll.
1st year is provided with 4 seater hostel room which I didn't like.
Boring useless subjects are there in 1st year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was genuinely interested in computer science and engineering and I wanted to do it from some Nit or IIT. The student is really less in NITJ. Total of 169 students of CSE are there and overall 1000 students are there in 1st sem overall of all branches. The faculty is mostly from IIT postgraduates. Their teaching is subtle and nice. Currently due to covid the whole academic schedule is messed up hence my 1st year went by in 6 months

Beautiful campus , trees and flowers are planted allover the campus
The classrooms alloted are very nice and comfortable and the environment is good for studies
The teacher faculty provided is highly qualified and are good in teaching

Dislikes

I think there is need for hostels to increase the living conditions

The students in 4th year only are eligible for campus placement but other students can apply for an internship which is important for getting good placements. Most percentages of students get placed and the left out mostly apply for further high education. Many companies visit here like Microsoft, Amazon, Intel, Walmart, Global, tech India, etc.

since college is located in punjab overall vibe is good
utkansh is one of the best fest in north india
campus placemnets are also very good .tpo is good

campus size is little bit small could been bigger
there is no swimming pool in the college
more facilities can pe provided everywhere like fully ac common rooms in hostel

Likes

Mess Food is very good because veg and non veg both food are available
Alumin network is very strong and always ready to help the juniors
Lab facility and infrastructure of the academics and classroom is new and modern type

Dislikes

NITJ campus is very small comparing to other than NITs
Less experience faculty , younger faculty
1st year student can't visit without permission after 8 o'clock in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose Computer science engineering because I have deeply interested in coding, because I have coding subject in 10+12 , The faculty and students ratio is very good it will be approximately 1:20. Most of the faculty members are B.tech, M.tech, or P.hd but some of the humanities teachers are also there He /she have qualifications B.sc/M.sc and P.hd Here three exams happened in a single semester two minor exams and one is major exam it will difficult or not depending upon the faculty mood.

After the 6th sem, students start sitting for placements Google, Intuit, Amazon, Samsung, Z Scaler, and Nvidia were some who visited this time. Highest - 55 LPA Average for Cse - 16 LPA 150+ out of 166 students of Cse placed this year already

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
