Course Curriculum Overview

Chose Cse because it was the current Meta In Cse, the ratio is around 20:650 PhD is required to become a professor and proper interviews are taken, it's basically a govt job Exams happen quite often, apart from the end sems, there is a minor exam which holds 20% weightage each.

Intuit with a Stipend of 80k Amazon with the highest Stipend of 110k Adobe with a Stipend of 75k BPCL with a Stipend of 30k Electric Pe with Stipend of 30k Google with a Stipend of 100k Other than that, people got off-campus internship offers from Servicenow, Adobe, Google, Amazon, Atlassian

After the 6th sem, students start sitting for placements Google, Intuit, Amazon, Samsung, Z Scaler, and Nvidia were some who visited this time. Highest - 55 LPA Average for Cse - 16 LPA 150+ out of 166 students of Cse placed this year already

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't seen a fee hike since my admission i.e 3 years. The fee structure varies on the basis of your caste category, Disability, family income, and day scholar/hostler. I got an internship with a 30k/month stipend.

The room is quite basic, just 2 beds and almirahs It's double sharing The meal menu is relatively better than other colleges, and being in Punjab the cuisine is not bad Online registration and it's quite affordable PG would be quite expensive

Admission

Applied through JOSAA Cleared JEE for that Scored 99.2 percentile Had a rank under 10000 Eligibility is just the cut-off and in the case of Cse, it was 10900 for Home state general boys and 8900 for other state boys. Didn't avail any reservation

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
