- There is no application/entrance exam fee.
- Scholarships are provided up to 100% based on KIITEE rank.

- Admission to medical courses is only based on NEET UG and NEET PG examinations.
Both entrance exams are computer-based tests held online at designated centres. The duration of the exams is 2.5 hrs, ie, 150 minutes. It has 120 MCQs for 4 marks each. Furthermore, there will be a negative marking (-1) for every wrong answer. KIIT does not release the official cutoff marks. However, the qualifying percentage for different category candidates is as follows:

Ques. How can I get admission into KIIT’s B.Tech program? What are the required eligibility and exams?
Ans. KIIT offers B.Tech admissions primarily through the KIITEE entrance exam (now a computer-based test). Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). A small number of seats (especially in CSE) are also allotted based on high JEE Main ranks. After the exam, qualified students participate in the university’s counselling and seat allotment. Seats are directly allotted based on KIITEE or JEE Main ranks.
Ques. What is the MBA admission process and eligibility at KIIT?
Ans. For the 2-year MBA at KIIT School of Management (KSOM), candidates need a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (and 50% in 10th/12th). Admission is through a valid national management test score. The university accepts CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/GMAT or its own KIITEE Management exam. Shortlisted applicants then go through Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview. Final selection is based on exam score, GD/PI performance, and academic records.

Ans. KIIT accepts NEET examinations for admission to its medical programs. For MBBS and BDS, candidates will be selected based on their NEET UG scores; meanwhile, admission to MS/MD is based on NEET PG scores. Seats are allotted on the basis of MCC NEET Counselling.

Ans. Yes, KIIT offers merit scholarships for top KIITEE rankers. The KIITEE topper gets free tuition, and the top 1,000 KIITEE rank holders receive various tuition waivers, subject to a 6 CGPA in their semester exams. In addition, state/national scholarships (SC/ST/OBC, OBC/EBC, etc.). For MBA students, KSOM provides partial waivers, ie, a 50% tuition waiver for the top 5 scorers in the KIITEE Management exam or very high CAT/XAT/MAT scores.
