How many teaching weeks are there in the BPUT B.Tech course?

The number of teaching weeks in each semester of the B.Tech course offered at Biju Patnaik University shall be fifteen to eighteen with a minimum of 90 teaching days excluding the period of examination.

What is the maximum duration of completing BPUT UG courses?

A student who is weak in studies can complete a 4-year UG program of BPUT in not more than 7 years, a 3 year UG program not exceeding 5 years, while the 5 year UG program, not more than 8 years.

Is there any seat reservation at BPUT for physically handicapped students?

Yes, some of the seats at BPUT are reserved for physically handicapped students, however, they are required to satisfy the prescribed medical fitness norms.

Can a B.Tech student at BPUT change his/her branch?

Yes, any student pursuing B.Tech at BPUT may be allowed a change in their branch after they have completed the course requirements for the first and second semesters. The change in a branch will be done subject to the availability of seats in a program. The selection shall be based on merit through candidates combined results in the first two semesters.

Students who have appeared for the BPUT Exam for both UG and PG courses can check their BPUT Result on the notice section available on the official website of the varsity. Students are required to visit the official website at bput.ac.in. Then, they need to select the examination tab and click on the BPUT exam result. A detailed summary of the students result will be displayed on the screen.

How a student is evaluated at BPUT?

Students at BPUT are required to maintain the required credit points for each semester as per the rules formulated by AICTE. Each discipline at Biju Patnaik University consists of 4 things: Theory, Practical, Sessional, and Project work. A student is evaluated based on the above-mentioned 4 criteria.

I don't like many things in college. Such worse environment in our college. Always people try to quarrel in with us.

Lovely place and location. Healthy environment
Hostel and medicine facilities available
Qualified faculties and quality meals and breakfast

Dislikes

Water tank system and purifying water . Weather also
Meal quality and dinner quality. Barking dogs.

Placement Experience:

Big companies like Amazon Google Infosys and TCS are coming. Most of national and international companies take our students with much packages as uses. Highest package was 1.15 laks on 2019. We are impressed in our qualification.

After 6th semester students can eligible for our college campus placement. In our college campus Company visited such as Ultratech, some Software companies etc. In our college placement the student will get average package of 20000-25000 per month. My plan is after getting the degree is to become a Software Engineer at Google and then I proceed for research.

I had choosen Mechanical engineering because of more facilities in industrial sector all over India and also abroad. Faculty and student ratio was very good. All the faculties are very well educated and helpful in nature. All faculty members were from m.tech , mba ,PhD background. Teaching methods were very nice with demonstration. There are total 8 semesters . Per year 2 semesters were held. Course will be difficult if student wouldn't go through the subject properly.

The Electronics and communication engineering course is a very profitable and it took a vast area in future AI world. Qualified in PhD teachers are teaching us and very helpful. There are 4 internal exams and 2 semesters in a year

From 7th semester we were eligible for campus placement. Approximately 50 companies visited and all 90% offers were made and successful. The highest package was 500000 per annum and avarage was 200000 per annum. I didn't got into any company as I prepared for govt jobs after completing.
