  There will be written eligibility test for admission – Working Executive Management Aptitude Test (WE-MAT). The WE-MAT would follow a similar pattern as the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. However, those having either of minimum 50 percentile in CAT or score of at least 500 in GMAT are eligible to be exempted from the above test. IIM Shillong will consider last 2 years CAT performance or last 5 years valid GMAT score.

  THE PROCESS

  The admission process for PGPWE (2025-27) will involve the following steps:

• Filling of the application form by interested candidates
• The candidates not having valid CAT/GMAT score as above will need to appear for WE-MAT
• Shortlisting of applicants for Interview Process. The applicants will be informed about this process, once they were shortlisted for the process.
• Conduct of Interview Process, which will be held over online mode
• Declaration of successful and wait listed candidates.

IIM Shillong PGPWE (Post Graduate Program for Working Executives) is a 2-Year, Part-time program. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and a Valid CAT / GMAT / WE-MAT scores and with 3 years of Work Experience are eligible to apply.

IIM Shillong PGPWE Admission Process

IIM Shillong PGPWE Admission Process will be conducted in 2 Rounds. The process is as follows:

• Candidates will be Shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI) based on their scores in CAT / GMAT / WE-MAT.
• Candidates not having valid CAT / GMAT score will need to appear for the WE-MAT Entrance Exam.
• Shortlisted Candidates are required to appear for PI for final selection.
• Final Merit List will be prepared based on Candidates Overall Performance in PI, and Valid Scores in CAT / GMAT / WE-MAT.
