Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, also known as DIAT, is a Deemed to be University established in 1952 in Pune. DIAT Pune is accredited by NBA, and NAAC with Grade A. DIAT Pune Admission 2025
MTech at DIAT Pune is its most preferred course. Students are admitted to the program based on GATE score. It offeres another program under the schools of Science & Technology : MSc (Tech) which accepts students through IIT JAM rank. Apart from these, the university’s PhD program is open for admission through UGC NET / GATE / Other National level doctoral entrances.
DIAT Pune Admission procedure involves downloading the application form in exchange for an application fee from the official website of the university. DIAT Pune is yet to release the placement data for 2025. The 2024 DIAT Pune Placement report states that 156 MTech and MSc (Tech) students were placed, with a placement rate of 70.9%. The median package offered was 9.29 Lakhs, which is a sgnificant drop from 20 LPA and 19.5 LPA from 2023 and 2022 respectively. Companis such as TCS, Cummings, Intel were among the major recruiters.
