Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for the M.Tech courses are very rigorous. There is plenty of research work and lab work to be done as well. Subjects like fluid dynamics, heat transfer, Experimental stress analysis, finite element methods, vibrations, vehicle dynamics and other areas are covered in detail.

Placement Experience

Several private and public organizations hire from the Defense Institute of Advanced Technology like DRDO, BRAHMOS etc. The college has a really good placement cell. The cell also provides all the facilities for the placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure for the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology more or less fits the norm for the M.Tech college in India. The fees payable per year is Rs. 1,38,000/- and thus for both the semesters it is Rs. 2,76,000/-

Campus Life

There are several facilities made available to each students for sports such as a good football ground, basketball court, indoor games like Table Tennis, carrom etc. There are several competitions like debates and essay also.

Admission

The admission for the M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is carried out through the merit obtained in the GATE examination. The admission process is completely online as you just have to go to the official website of the college and fill out the form and pay the registration fees.

From third year student become eligible for campus selection . There are many companies like cap gemini , infosys , tata elxsi, tech mahindra ,TCS , amazon , moto hunger,WIPRO ,MNC etc Highest package is 12 lakh for it engineer in RT Company And average package of 3.6 lakh for ENTC ENGINEER. The rate was 520/600 i wanted to pursue a M.tech after my degree.

Nice college for Engineering

Admission:

I applied for the college based on my JEE main score. Admissions are also done based on the score of state level Engineering entrance examination that is MHT-CET. However if one has given the JEE Main examination then the state level examination doesn't matter much. I got this college in the second round of counselling and took admission in it because I know that my score was not good to get into NITs or on the IIITs. This is institute is known for its Engineering education that's why I opted for it.

Good Institute for quality education.

I got admission in this course after qualifying my B.Tech with 75 percent of marks. Admission in this course course was done on basis of competitive exams and interviews.
