DIAT Pune M.S Research is offered as 3 Years Full Time program. The minimum eligibility criteria for M.S is Graduation. The total fees for DIAT Pune M.S Research in 2025 is ₹ 4.16 Lakhs for the complete course duration, which includes total tuition fees of ₹ 2.82 Lakhs. Earlier, the fees in 2022 - 2023 for M.S Research was ₹ 3.1 Lakhs.

The qualifying degrees are:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or Master’s degree in appropriate Science (M.Sc.) with good academic record.
• The candidate must have at least two years work experience to be considered under External Registration programme.
• Additional and stiffer criteria than the minimum educational qualification given above may be set by the Selection committee from time to time for short listing candidates to be called for test/ interview.
• A research scholar under external registration programme will normally carry out part or all of his/her research work in the organization employing the scholar under the supervision of a coguide employed in the same organization and a guide at DIAT.

Selection Procedure:

Eligible candidates possessing the minimum educational qualifications and satisfying additional criteria set by the department from time to time will be called for Test/ Interview by Selection committee.
