Faculty is very good who provides you best and better knowledge
Bvdu offers multiple choice of companies to its students as bvdu is one of the best university and provide the best placements to big tech companies like college dunia hcl, del, mahindra and mahindra upgrade, and many more.
Tution fee increased by 5% every year it costs almost about 28-30 lakhs for entire degre some scholarship for ews is available a very good internship programme is available which doesn't have any stipends but experience gained is worth it.

Dislikes

Other than fest ,clubs,sports there is no extra curricular we can do.
They don?? conduct extracurricular activities weekly
The overall cost of education is high. Strict regulations for attendance.

Being a sports person. The college is very supportive with equipments and opportunities.
Frequent site visits, study tours are conducted which gives an hand on experience.

Dislikes

The faculty looks for perfection in the work of their students, which keeps student on their toes.

Placement Experience:

Placements and interviews are available in college after the completion of a five-year course. Academically, the student can get an internship in the 8th and 9th semesters. But one is free to do an internship for a month or so whenever he or she wishes to. 3 to 4 lakhs of the package are offered to a freshly graduated architect from this college. But few choose to opt for a master's before getting into earning. Which is also available in this college- a master's in sustainable architecture.

Students can do internships anytime during 3rd year. Many top architectural firms from all over Pune come for placement drives. Firms specializing in urban, landscape, and residential architecture come for the same. The average placement salary goes up to 7,20000. Around 80% of the students get selected for internships. Get some experience for a few years and then do a master's.

Big and open classroom with supportive teachers and digital facility
Events from different field are organized throughout creating various opportunities
More site visits and exposure for practical knowledge

According to me the environment is friendly so i dont find any thing which i disliked
By my side i dont feel anything which i disliked
Issues are solved before we discuss it to faculty,so everything is good

Firms in Pune and away from Pune come for placements. Teachers also help students in making a portfolio. Average salary packages are 7 lacs per annum, firm specializing in urban planning, and landscape dealing with commercial and residential structures also come to provide placements. My plan after the degree is to work for 1 year under a specialized firm and then open my firm.

Nothing to my finding is disliking at the college.

Placement Experience:

Top firms from all over Pune come to the college for campus placements. If you have good amount of work and have good skills regarding software you are bound to get a placement. Average package is around 7lakhs

Architectural education at its best

Likes

Fest is wonderfull !!...its a huge collective initiative.
The faculty is empathetic and gives attention to overall growth
The college premises are lively and make for an excellent space as a college of architecture

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided in the sem 10th and internships are provided in sem 8. Those who have good marks or percentages do get opportunities in their life. The average package is 360000. Most of the students get placed.

Students can avail of campus placements and internships after the 4th semester itself. VKE, PDCL, Sunil Patil and Associates, Verenkar Associates, and Rajdeep Builders are a few of the many companies visiting for placements and internships. If the students' work is good then they are eligible, which means 100% placements can be availed with consistently good work. I want to continue with my master's and have practice.

The greenery in the campus lifts the mood in the morning.

We were late during admissions due to covid-19 due to which semester exams were conducted in a period of 4 months for the first three semesters. But from now on, the students get 5 months between semester exams

I have a friend who completed his engineering program from BVDU, Pune back in 2018. Here is a brief overview of the college based on his experience at the institute.

Campus- The campus is beautiful. Before it became deemed to be a university it used to be among the best colleges under PU.
College life- Academic-wise, the practical portion is generally neglected. BVDU follows the PU submission pattern, so you'll be compelled to finish your assignments before the deadline.
Crowd- My friend mentioned that due to the crowd, BVDU always stood superior to the IITs in Pune because here you would come across people who belong to diverse backgrounds and mindsets. This diversification shapes your personality.
Faculty- It is pretty average. But for someone who carries a thirst to learn, they would not be disappointed. The HOD and professors are no doubt excellent. But the biggest drawback is that they don’t put in 100% effort.
Placements- In case you're someone with excellent coding skills, the companies that show up may give you a chance, Students from ECE, IT, CS has decent placement record. You can try to work on your communication skills, build your LinkedIn network and contribute your work in the final year. The average salary received by students was 7 LPA while the highest package was 54 LPA.

All in all, it may not be the best college in Pune, but you'd come across several people from different backgrounds and the faculty quality is also good. You can definitely consider it as an option.
