The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came to existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action in July 2008. It is a UGC-recognized university and also accredited by NAAC with grade 'B'.

It offers variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses leading to B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BJMC, BCA, B.Pharm, B.Voc, B.Ed., Integrated B.Ed., MA, MBA, MCA, M.Com, MJMC, Ph.D. and D.Pharm programs. The Admission in all the Courses shall be given on the basis of CUET conducted by the NTA

IGNTU Admission

Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University. The Admission in all the Courses shall be given on the basis of CUET conducted by NTA
Applicants' are shortlisted based on an CUET exam conducted by NTA.
Candidates seeking admission to MBA programs are also granted admission based on CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT Score.
PhD aspirants with a valid CSIR NET/ UGC NET score are also preferred during admission.

How to Apply?

Visit the official website of the university.
Candidates are required to have a valid email id and mobile number at the time of registration.
Fill the form online and upload the recent passport size photograph and signature.
Candidates can pay the applicant fees via Bank Challan which is generated after filling the application from online.
Fees can be paid in the University's Account number [State Bank of India] through NEFT mode from any nationalized bank.
Application fees: INR 300 [for General/OBC] and INR 100 [for SC/ST/PH].

IGNTU Facilities

The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University provides various facilities to the students as well as faculty members:

Central Library: IGNTU Library is the focal point of information for the student's community. Currently, it has 58000 books in its collection.

Hostel: There are 3 boys' and 1 girls hostel namely Narmada Boys, Sone Hostel for Boys, TCPC Boys Hostel and New Girls Hostels.

NCC: NCC unit of the University is under the 7 M.P. (I) COY NCC Shahdol of Jabalpur Group. It started in the University in July 2013. The total allotment strength of SD (Senior Division NCC) Cadets is 106. Presently the total strength of SD Cadets is 36.

Other facilities: Cafeteria, TrAnsport, Medical cell, Guest Room, Alumni Association, Bank facilities

Ans. Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) is meant for a peaceful and good environment and the university is located at Amarkantak in MP. The curriculum of academics is which strict and up to date. The university have a great thing that they have a great schedule. And does strictly followed by the departments under the university. The course and curriculum meets the hope of students.

The placement is not sure. But some students get this placement from management studies and communals and business studies also pharmacy students I don't know about arts and science courses students. But the placement cell is little bit week

Yearly fees structure of the college

Affordable Fee range, Odd semester Have Approximately 16k, but even semester have 12k-14k. the hostel also very cheap but infrasturally it will be great only 3000 will be hostel fee for 1st years then adjacent the years the fees will be reduced.

College fest and various activities

Indira Gandhi National tribal University is Central University so students from all parts of India like Kerala as some West Bengal Rajasthan Jammu Kashmir so agriculture festival here is very much celebrated, there is no restriction to celebration for any cultural festivals. Library is very good but the number of books are moderately this is not a big library first of all. The campus provide gym centre and indoor stadium the campus have outdoor stadium for cricket and football.

The faculty and student relationship and the ratio are going to be very good they are very helping teachers to the students and the students are very intelligent and the more competent in this field however the honorable HOD and the deal of the pharmacy department is very quiet intelligent person. Under the HOD the faculties are very support you.

I am looking for a Central University and I want a professional course and I choosed pharmacy bpharm. And I found the igntu Amarkantak is a Central University who provides B pharm. The admission process of my college through cuet examination. If you pass in cuet exam, then apply to university website samarth portal then they will call for your offline verification after all the release the allotment result. Then you will take admission there.

Night Life

Nightlife in here is only for boys they have gyms casteria but library closed on evening and the girls to be a restricted didn't allowed to go back from hostel after evening night. Guru govind hostel and boys OBC hostel are for boys Rani durgavati hostel and OBC girls girls hostel for girls. The university include Pak and the nearby places are very beautiful and scenic.

Campus is very big and all types of grounds are available.campus life is vibrant and engaging
all the deparments are seperated and there is no mess between students. the infrastructure is decent with wrll equipped labs and a central library.

Dislikes

girls to bys ratio is not skewed with significantly higher number of boys compared to girls

Admission:

i selected this collage because it was one of the cheapest collage in india truly its semester fee is just 1250 rupees an hostel fee is 3250 for obc and general students. i havent applied to other collages only i applies to was guru ghansidas vishvavidhlaya. and IGNTU. the addmisson process is quite tough because we have to visit the collage 3 times . 1 for document submission 2 for document verification and 3 for admission. I gave CUET exam for this collage and the cutoff is as per category . Also the seats are remaining are filled up with open councelling which makes it to the other students.

Admission:

I like to Churu just on this college over other colleges because of this and fast structure the fees the nature the weather and the area where it has been located is very peaceful very come and outside all the pollution and excepting the course is very nice at has been more chances and big that and engineering courses more practical knowledge about the new languages there after that's why this is not validity and I have rejected at the quality

university enviourment is really really great.there is no pollution like air pollution or land pollution. air is so fresh. its kinds a moderate enviourment due to high amount of greenry.

there is no big market or permanent market so thats why we have to take bus to near by city
transport system is really really bad in this university

I choose this college because it is near to my home and it is a central university and rank no. 1 in my state. And the cutoff of our college is varies department to department. CUET is compulsory examination for admission.

Minimum eligibility for UG courses is passing in 10+2 examination in the relevant stream with a minimum of 50% marks. For PG courses, candidates must pass in graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks. The Admission in the UG Courses shall be given on the basis of CUET conducted by NTA. For admission in PG Courses, the University will conduct the Entrance Test.

With a CUET UG score of 225, your chances of securing admission to the B.Pharm program at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak, are limited. In the 2024 admission cycle, the cutoff for the General category was 250 in Round 1 and 245 in Round 2. However, if you belong to the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category, the cutoff was approximately 216 in Round 1 and 226 in Round 2. Given your score of 225, you might have a possibility for consideration.

IGNTU B.Ed is offered as 2 Years Full Time program, with total intake of 50 seats. The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Ed is Graduation. The total fees for IGNTU B.Ed in 2025 is INR 24,000 for the complete course duration. The minimum eligibility for admission to B.Ed at IGNTU is Graduation. Candidates are allotted seats based on CUET-PG. Candidates with fifty percent (50%) marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, level and who have secured a minimum of 35 % marks (30% for SC and ST and Kashmiri Migrant students) in the entrance exam conducted by the University.
