The emerging IIT

The tution fee for a general candidate is stagnant for each semester and is pegged at 100000 rupees, while the other facilities like mess food, hostel etc. could make upto 35000 to 40000. There are many opportunities for females and economicallly weaker sections but the same is less for a normal person.There are no campus employment opportunities.

Here we have total fees approx 140000 rs. In which 100000 is tution fees and rest is other hostel, mess and etc. IIT also provide scholarships to people on family income basis. And SC/ST students get 100 percentage remission in tution fee.

Super hard curriculum and very strict professor's.

Per semester it is around 1.5 lakh for general and OBC. Loans are provided easily. Coming in placement it is average and 80 percent of batch get placed but with Avery decent package. Internship opportunities are less for other branches than cs and electrical students.

Difficulty level of exams are more than I expect.

I'm OBC girl and we don't have any reduction in our college fees. General candidates and OBC candidates have to pay same tution fees every year. We cost 3 lakhs rupees per year including hostel dinning health care etc. I'm only satisfied with hostels mess food and health facilities are not that good.

I am from obc category,so i have fee remission based on income certificate given by state or central government of India,yes there will be a little bit increase in tution fee,the complete cost of my education is 4 lakh to 5 lakh,there scholar shops provided by central government like nsp and etc..

A BLISSFUL COLLEGE LIFE OF IIT INDORE

There are to many scholarships which you can take and the tuition fee over here is 1lakh and it decreases to 1/3rd if your father's income is less than 5lpa. If you are sc/st then you don't need to pay tution fee.
