The emerging IIT

In my opinion the courses doesn't seem to be relevant and are highly incomprehensive. The order of the courses in different years is very random and doesn't deals with one another.The course structure is designed for students who have some interest in industrial, research world. A 4 month long semester accompanied by a mid sem and an end sem is there. The profs will also take quizzes and ask you to do assignments,make presentations as well.

There are quite a lot of internship opportunities but are only limited to a few branches like electrical and computer science. Ant the stipend offered to the students goes to a maximum to 1.5 lac. There are certain internships offered in core subjects too

The placement opportunities are high in the college. Especially if a candidate is good in programming and hace a decent cpi above 8 then the chances of getting placement gets increased. Few companies that comes to the college are Deloitte,Oracle, dshaw etc . According to the data , approximately 96% students get placed in the companies.

The tution fee for a general candidate is stagnant for each semester and is pegged at 100000 rupees, while the other facilities like mess food, hostel etc. could make upto 35000 to 40000. There are many opportunities for females and economicallly weaker sections but the same is less for a normal person.There are no campus employment opportunities.

There are a lot of clubs like the dramatics club 'Aaina', music club etc. . If one is interested to get into one of such clubs, then there are time-to-time inductions that takes place. Usually the inductions for each club happens twice a year. In terms of sports and other curricular the coleege is ahead . The inter IIT sports meet is going to happen in IIT Indore this time as well

The hostels are made in accordance to single occupancy . There are 2 washroom and 2 bathroom which are shared between 5 people. The mess food quality is good when a student comes to the college and the quality of the food gets keep on degrading. You just have to show the fee receipt for acquiring a room in the hostel .

The admission process was quite easy and was conducted by by JoSAa. One need to be careful while choosing his/her preferences of different colleges as a small mistake in preferences might result in a blunder and you could lose the seat in a well ranked college. After the college is alloted you need to upload your documents like your 10+2 gradesheets and some other documents. All the documents are verified physically by the college authority after your arrival to the college. You are allotted a hostel having students of the same year . After successful verification of the documents there is a 3 days orientation called 'genesis' which helps the new enrolled students to know each other. The cutoff . The authorities should have provide the guide to where the buildings for document verifications are like health document, fees documents etc. because the places for different document verification were in different floors,rooms of the buildings and people were getting confused in finding that.
