The qualifications of the faculties are great and faculty -to-student ratio is satisfiable.
It offers an average placement of 25 lpa but highest package of 1.95cr which is much better than many top iits.
I liked the environment of the college. it is covered in beautiful greenery

Dislikes

Academic are tough to handle and working members of campus is rude
Course curriculum is not very hectic but this course will not help you for placement and curriculum does not provide any real world application.
Even if it includes the name management but there is a lack of management

IIITM or IIITM

Likes

Campus ,the greenery and the weather.The best time is the winters , the campus is heaven.
Seniors help in every thing . Connections matter for off campus placements
Friends and hostel Life.Hostel life is a must have once in a life . We get to know new things .

Dislikes

Faculty teaches things which are not used in the latest world .
Teachers should be more young as students can connect to them.
Classrooms are very big. but the air conditioning is not that good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the CSE course curriculum as 7/10 as the ere are many subjects that are not relevant to the course ,but they are taught.As a CSE student , I do not like to study electrical fundamentals . It should be more related to tech and coding .

IIITM GWALIOR: OLDEST IIIT

Likes

Infrastructure and environment of college is best.
Sports ground are well maintained along with many tournaments going around througout year.
After being hard course for tech it also provides central indias largest cultural fest aurora.

Dislikes

Gym should be improved so that all equipments should be provided.
Mess quality should be improved. Mess quality is worse than many colleges.
Laptops should be allowed in class as being a tech college.

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is quite good. It offers an average placement of 25 lpa but highest package of 1.95cr which is much better than many top iits. It is well established and oldest iiit so hence placement offers are quite good.

IIITM Gwalior -A good place to push yourself.

On campus placement are not soo good....
The area around which college is located is rural.
The in time of campus for girls is 10:30pm .. which is less.

Placement Experience:

On campus Placements were good before covid but after covid there are no great campus placements..but from 2023 many companies are approaching IIITM... Mostly tier 1 companies used to come at campus earlier but now it is not the case. But you can get off campus placements for sure if you have good skills.

Thoughts of IIITM

I like the coding culture and environment of the college. Although the infrastructure is not very much but still you get a lots of things to do here and the clubs are very indulging which increases makes you social.

Placement Experience:

Placements are fair in the college. For 4 year courses students are eligible from 7th semester and for 5 year courses students are eligible from 9th semester in their placements. Companies like Mercari, Cisco, DE Shaw, TCS, Airtel, Nutanix etc visited the campus and hired many students. Highest package has also reached till 1+ cr and average is of 24 lakh per annum. Almost 80-90% students get placed in the companies. I also plan to complete my degree and get placed on good company with a decent position.

Placement Experience:

There is many companies come in the campus for placements. After covid, some companies are not come there for some time, but in the future they will come again. Since the branch of electrical and electronics is knew, so at present there is no company coming at present but when we come in 4th year, the companies will definetily come.

Overview of my college

Likes

Open Air Theater is there for conducting fest and other mass meetings.
Lush Green Campus full of trees and flowers spreading greenery in whole area.
This college provides a strong Alumni network to its students.

Dislikes

Large number of trees not managed properly invites many insects inside the campus.
Sports Complex and Equipments are not Managed properly.

Placement Experience:

Final-year students are eligible for placements. There are both on-campus as well as off-campus placements. The average placement of IIITM Gwalior are 24.31 LPA while the highest domestic package was 65 LPA and the highest International package was 7.5 MPA in Japanese Yen. Companies Offering package of less than 10 LPA are not allowed on our campus. More than 80 companies visited the campus including Google, Microsoft, Meta Amazon, Adobe etc.

Diversified peer groups and connections.
Active clubs and Supportive seniors ....
Biggest learning and resource centre in middle India

Regress schedule of classes throughout the day
Even if it includes the name management but there is a lack of management
Maintenance of the campus and regulation of the placement cell

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are also good but due to past 2 years placements are not taking place well even though over all statistics suggested an average pakage of 15 lac. Around every renowned company visited out campus Software branches are getting 90% placements.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, you will be eligible for campus placements if you get the required CGPA set by the company. Nearly 30 companies visit the campus and 50 offers will be made for 79 students with an average package of nearly 12 lakh. While off-campus placements is where student excel. 50% of people get placements.

distance between hostel and academic block the gender ratio is low well its same everywhere

final year students are eligible for placements there are both on-campus and on-campus placement earlier on-campus placements were but now off-campus placements are more due to the recession either be on campus or off-campus students are getting very good packages and the average package is increasing every year google microsoft amazon flipkart intel are some prominent companies and offer packages like 50lpa,30lpa, etc highest package last year is 1.91 cr and companies offering less than 10lpa are not allowed in our campus.

Likes

Hostel Room is better than that I expected
The course structure is good and managable
A few clubs and there culture is just amazing

Dislikes

Mess food is not at all managable some days
Some complaints are not resolved in our hostel for months
The classes here are too boring sometimes

Placement Experience:

I guess the placements here are dependent on the skills of the students. Most of the companies have recruited the best. The placement cell is really active here they always keep updating the students about the opportunities.

IIITM Gwalior is a reputed technological institute with decent placement record. The placements are especially good for CS/IT branches. Students from non-IT branches also get placements in IT companies. IIITM Gwalior placements concluded with an average CTC of INR 16.85 LPA. Google, Dell, Mathworks, Samsung, and Amazon were the major recruiting participants in the placement drive.

Academics are pretty good at the institute. It has an excellent faculty pool. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhDs. IIITM G has an active coding culture on campus. Seniors teach the nitty-gritty of coding through the coding club - AASF club. There are regular program contests and quizzes.
