IIITM Gwalior offers admission to the M.Tech program in 7 specialisations, such as Information Security, Information and Cyber Warfare, Wireless Network & Applications, Integrated Circuit Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, and Machine Intelligence.

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). This was my best option basically considering placements too. for cse you should get 99% in mains , msc and it+mtech 98.7%, it+mba 98.2 %, eee 97.7 %. *for general category.

I chose this college specifically because of its reputation as a Tier 2 institute and also because the placment percentage was 100% at that time with good average package The admission process is that they take students through the rankings in Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Mains if you cross the cutoff criteria for that branch.

1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. In under graduation one should have at least 60% with maths/statistics as one of the subjects. After that there will be group discuss round and interview round. Selected students name will get published on the official college website.

Admission:

I choose this college since I'm aiming to grow in the Engineering and technological field. Jee is most challenging exams of India and passing this would give me the opportunity to go for a government funded college, which would help me financially. The quality of the education would definitely not compromise because of the academic environment in this college. The curriculum here is designed challenging and also ensures that students know what the industry is and how it works. Professors here are qualified and are graduated from most prestigious colleges of India. The reputation of being in iiit gwalior is great than most of the other nits and private colleges, the brand builts strong reputation. The affordability is also a factor for which I choose this college for. I haven't made it to other nits because I my jee score was not upto the mark. Admission process is applying for JEE mains only. cut-offs and all would be varying everyyear based on the paper toughness.
