Likes

Infrastructure and environment of college is best.
Sports ground are well maintained along with many tournaments going around througout year.
After being hard course for tech it also provides central indias largest cultural fest aurora.

Dislikes

Gym should be improved so that all equipments should be provided.
Mess quality should be improved. Mess quality is worse than many colleges.
Laptops should be allowed in class as being a tech college.

Course Curriculum Overview

course are more relevant then any other course because it focuses on it sector course instead of chemistry, physics and all that which matters least for a programmer. It provides exposure to hardware through course like hws.

Many internship opportunites are available in our college. Google, meta, d shaw, microsoft are the mass recruiters of this college with many other intern offers too upto 20 lpa Mostly every indiviual get intern after 3 year

Placement Experience

Placement of this college is quite good. It offers an average placement of 25 lpa but highest package of 1.95cr which is much better than many top iits. It is well established and oldest iiit so hence placement offers are quite good.

Fees and Financial Aid

mess fees is 15000 around and college fees is also quite nomial as compared to other engineering colleges. also placement is quite good with respect to the fees charge. Overall for 4 years course you have to pay 9 lakhs fees only

Campus Life

ABV-IIITM GWALIOR has a huge campus of 160 acres. It has 5 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. I also have all types of ground for all sports hence infrastructure is quite good if we compare to other government college.

Hostel Facilities

I stay in ivh hostel the mostly newly maded hostel for 1st year boys. It has 1 living room, 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen and bathroom attached in every room. Other hostels have common bathrooms. It also have visitor hostels.

Admission

i gave jee mains in which i scored 99.1ile. i always wanted be a tech specialist and i loved coding so my goal was iiit or iits only due to no state reservation so equally talented people can be on campus and get exposure of different state people. jee is most toughest engineering exam of india.

The placements cell at our college is very active,and students typically become eligible to participate in campus drives starting from 6th and 7th semester.Every year,several reputed companies such as TCS,Infosys,or local firms visit the campus,making a significant number of offers to our batch.

The college placement is quite average upto 14 15 lakh.there are so many companies like Infosys. Etc visited for placement every year. Students became eligible for internship in 5th semester and wil get placement in 4th year.i planned to became successful software engineer.

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges.
