Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose EEE as I am very much interested in semiconductors and I want to pursue my career in this field. the faculty: student ratio is about 1:6 and my college has an all PHD faculty that too PHD from renowned institutes. well don't except too much from teachers and if you accept spoon-feeding than forget about placement, well its not that other institutes have spoon-feeding, teachers have knowledge but you have to squeeze it from them well, there is competition and exams we are ok and not so tough, starting to study 2 weeks before the exam is enough to get a good score.

Internships Opportunities

4

Microsoft, amazon google, and stipend 30k approx. well, its an IT college so all internships are coding-based, and out college's coding culture is excellent which attracts many companies and give students internships with good stipend.

Placement Experience

4

final year students are eligible for placements there are both on-campus and on-campus placement earlier on-campus placements were but now off-campus placements are more due to the recession either be on campus or off-campus students are getting very good packages and the average package is increasing every year google microsoft amazon flipkart intel are some prominent companies and offer packages like 50lpa,30lpa, etc highest package last year is 1.91 cr and companies offering less than 10lpa are not allowed in our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

well, it's a government institute so there isn't any fee hike and cost of study is low and it's easy to loan as it's a reputed institute. there are many scholarships given by private companies like Reliance and Stuff, but there are no jobs on campus for students.

Campus Life

4.5

our annual cultural fest is Aurora and its the largest fest in central India its conducted around feb and techno fest infotsav. there is a huge library with many books and it's a very good place I like to stay in the library a lot of classrooms are huge with central AC and 2 projectors per classroom. there is a very big sports complex with 4 badminton courts and 1 basketball court football ground cricket ground and tennis court and 2 squash courts and many table tennis tables in sports complexes and in hostels also GYM is also there many clubs are there in our college AASF is coding club and manchtantra is a cultural club and Rotract is social welfare club and many more clubs are there you can explore once you come to college.

Admission

Eligibility was through the JEE MAIN exam and for the general category the minimum percentile to get into this college is 98 percentile. all application forms, application fees, and application dates are released from the JOSAA website which is the Joint Seat Allocation Association. JOSAA is a standard organization that allocates seats for ALL IIT, NIT, and IIITs. I personally don't have any reservations but there are seats reserved for SC, ST, OBC, and economically weaker sections. NONE, there wasn't any particular problem in the admission process but it was very long and it took more than a month to get to the final college as there are about 5 lakh students sitting in the counseling its understandable.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies visiting campus are mostly mass recruiters along with a few product-based and mid-level companies. Most students receive an average package of approximately 5-6 LPA, while higher packages are offered to only a few top performers. Few seniors, whom I know got packages of 8.5 LPA, 12 LPA, and 19 LPA also, so basically higher packages are also offered but their competition is high and only some of them can make it up to that. A good percentage of eligible students receive the placement offers, mainlt in IT and service-based roles, but competition remains there, so one needs to have serious preparation on his or her own. Arond 60%+ students got placed every year from on-campuses placements. The placement cell provides training sessions and interview sessions from the third year onwards. Overall, placements can be considered decent compared to other private colleges in the region. Basically, after completing my graduation, I plan to pursue good placement otherwise prepare further for civil services after understanding career growth, however, this is not my final decision but could make a final one before the completion of course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The manit curriculum for mechanical is quite strong in basics and was a major reason i chose this course .It covers core maths ,mechanics ,physics ,electrical and wrskhopa ,which helps for higher studies and exams .Exams are frequent with midsems ,quizzes and endsems;sometimes the schedule feels packed, but it keeps us regular with the syllabus.Difficulty is moderate if you attend classes and practice .Still , some subjects feel outdated and there should be more software , projects and insustry oriented content.

Placement record is decent, campus drives happens regularly. If no campus placement is offered then it's obvious one has to struggle a bit more to get a decent job but I beleive the college makes the students capable enough to crack the campus placement if a person really is capable then their is no lack of resources from the college. Even if there is no in campus placement I think everyone has a plan B.
