The B.Tech Lateral Entry admission process at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is merit-based and streamlined for diploma holders. Selection is determined primarily by the candidate's diploma percentage and the availability of seats in the program. Unlike regular B.Tech admissions, there is no entrance examination required for lateral entry candidates. The university conducts counselling sessions for all shortlisted candidates, during which they are informed of their provisional admission status. Following successful counselling, candidates receive a Provisional Admission Offer Letter and must complete fee payment within the stipulated timeframe to confirm their seat. Original documents must be submitted in person at the Kanakapura campus for final verification and admission completion.
