- Good exposure with good environment. As iit name matter..

- D od quality and mess not good. As it is converted iit so it is not that much good.
Placement Experience:
Placement are good. If you want you can get easily if you come in this criterion. Most of branch offer placemnt of 20 to 40 lakhs per annum. Cs offer the highhest placement cost.
Internship also offered here with good offer

- The professors and their accessibility, their Keen interest in helping us through out the course.
- The activity in SAC such as swimming and gym, meditation classes for relaxation during exams and placement
- The health centre and 24*7 availability, the mental health priority by having a separate councellor for the same
Dislikes
- The lack of washing machines in hostels, giving us to rely on local laundry services
- The water from RO sometimes taste weird which should be checked frequently
Placement Experience:
The M.tech students are eligible for campus placement in 3rd semester. There are numerous companies visiting the campus and most of the students receive employment opportunities. The highest package in my department for m.tech student is 37 lpa by mathworks.more than 80 percent students have received placement for this season till now.

- There is a 7th floor library, all the books are provided
- College canteen is very good, no need to go outside for anything

- Mess food is very normal , it should be improved
- College location is not in the big city like other colleges.

Considering the recent scenario,placements are average,The highest package is provided in the CSE department students, Average package is around 13 lpa and highest package is 40 lpa for Mtech ECE this year

- In this college,labs are of high standards

- College is not better for high package job

The placement senerio of this college is normal ,but if you study above average then you will get a good job , percentage of btech is 60 and of mtech is 40 ,here highest package is around 60 lakhs and average package is around 15 lakhs , students become eligible after one year of course complition

- Locations is a bit in outskirts it’s a bit far from main city
- Hostel food is not good enough it can be better

Placements are average currently... Placements stats for Btech is nearly 60 percentage and for MTech it's nearly 40 percentage. here placement team is hard working and looking for a good overall placement state

- Here security is very tight, in every class roon there is cctv camera

- When you go outside of college then you cannot find many common used things

Here campus placement is good, many students convert their internship into full time and many got full time job opportunity after competition of one year of course, students become eligible for placement test and after cleared the test appear for interview and then got placement offer

The medium and average package offerd during IIT DHANBAD placement 2024 stood at INR. 15.92LPA and INR 20.79LPA respectively. Further a total of 547 offers were made duing IIT ism dhanbad which is good .

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course structure is more or less toward a mining background but it's well structured so you will enjoy it. It is slightly industry point of view so you will learn a lot and will help in your better placement. at last placement matters. The students were in my batch of about 42 students where 3 girls were there. Most of the students join to have a study time for government exams also obviously in civil engineering department what else you expect. Faculties are highly qualified. Most of them phd from Top IITs and Post docs also. so qualifications of professors are a lot and they are the best in their fields. You won't find any faculty who is having less knowledge. They know the subjects and teaching style of most of the faculties are also good. you will enjoy it. There are a lot of exams to keep us on track, you will find 4 quizzes and an end sem exam in a semester.

Placement Experience:
The placements of M.Tech are good, in fact, at least 8 students out of 14 got the placements. The Percentage of the students placed is a minimum 50% as it is quite difficult for 100% placements. The highest package that was offered to my seniors is Rs. 12 LPA. the minimum offer is Rs. 5.5 LPA and the average offer is Rs. 8.7 LPA. As it is IIT, various companies visit this college and are related to the manufacturing and the IT sector. Also, its a premium college of mines, so many mining companies see this as the first option. Different roles have been offered to the students after the placements like some got graduate engineer trainee's posts, and some got supervisor's posts while some of my seniors even got the assistant manager's posts. The internship percentage is quite good. At least 85% of the students get internship opportunities from the college as this college has a quite good reputation in the market for mining. The stipend amount that we got is Rs. 12,400.

For anyone who wants to go for technical education, NIT/IIT can be the best possible choice but getting their isn't easy because the competition is way higher.ISM Dhanbad is working under IIT Dhanbad and has been getting recognition from top agencies over the years like 32nd rank in 2021 NIRF rankings. The admissions to the M.Tech course at ISM-D requires a valid score in GATE entrance and the CGPA specified.

IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum. IIT Dhanbad has a total of 332 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced members. Out of total, 315 members are Ph.D. holders.
IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 17th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is one of the newer IITs. Thus, IIT Dhanbad will be a better option to study ECE than Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar because, Being one of the oldest established IITs, IIT Dhanbad is known for its quality of education and their campus life. It also has better and more experienced faculty members.
