Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is research oriented and most of the faculties are well educated and experienced they have many industry oriented projects which may help there students to get exposed to industrial work.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies visited the campus this year like Intel, Texas Instruments, Tata motors, KPIT, Bajaj, analog devices, SLB and many PSU's like CDOT and CDAC they all provided salaries in the range of 9 Lakhs to 50 Lakhs

Placement Experience

Placements are average currently... Placements stats for Btech is nearly 60 percentage and for MTech it's nearly 40 percentage. here placement team is hard working and looking for a good overall placement state

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is good enough in comparison to other institutes here fee is nominal. We do get stipend form MHRD of 12400/- per month.. Stipend is well enough for courses completion and we can survive a month easily.

Campus Life

Campus is big enough.. it's a 450 acre campus and lush green.. Library facility is one of the best in the institute it is a 7 storey building that can accommodate nearly 2000 students at a time.. it's open day and night

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are double sharing for MTech and Btech only final year students of Btech and PhD get single sharing rooms.. Food is average it can be better.. Hostels are big enough and have many playing facility's and gyms

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

For MTech you need to have a Bachelors degree in relevant department then after you need to give GATE exam.. Every college upload there application form at there college websites. Yes there's reservation benefits.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good. If you want you can get easily if you come in this criterion. Most of branch offer placemnt of 20 to 40 lakhs per annum. Cs offer the highhest placement cost. Internship also offered here with good offer

Cuj Growing towards a bright Future

Remarks:

We desperately need to shift to the new campus. Every department needs minimum 2-3more faculty. University must have to make the full campus Wi-Fi enabled as we are living in 21st century where we have to make ourself more advance. Needs to work on hostel facility and alumni network.

Remarks:

Positive thing is that you will get the superb guidance of the faculties of one of the premiere institute of India. You will get feel of National Institute there, you will have all the things at a single time The bad thing of the campus is that it doesn't have a canteen for even a small thing you have to go out.

Remarks:

Remarks:

All good remarks about collage cause at last approx 80 % students get placement in collage campus. Bad remark is BIT should use better cooks in hostel and should provide better cleanness in washrooms of hostels. Collage management is good and it's in best

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director. After this we were called to campus for pre-registration for our course there we had to submit our documents and verify our identity. That's it !!...Read More
