Likes

College campus is greenery and all facilities are available
There is a 7th floor library, all the books are provided
College canteen is very good, no need to go outside for anything

Dislikes

Mess food is very normal , it should be improved
College location is not in the big city like other colleges.
Placement scenario is not upto the mark in this college

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many courses available like VLSI,optical.Faculty members are well qualified and their teaching methodology are awesome like other college . Academic calendars are followed properly and semesters are conducted.

Lots of companies like google , IBM , Microsoft, Texas Instrument , analog devices, Intel etc are visited in this college and also lots of psus are also visited like CDot, cdac ,oil , ongc etc. In this college lots of govt funded projects are running.

Placement Experience

Considering the recent scenario,placements are average,The highest package is provided in the CSE department students, Average package is around 13 lpa and highest package is 40 lpa for Mtech ECE this year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very well planned and also there is a stipend provided by MOE. There is also a provision of various scholarships that are being provided to students. There is also a biometric attendance system.

Campus Life

Life is awesome here, There are various clubs like sports, music, art, Dance, etc. You can join any of these clubs and explore the potential within you, There are two large sports ground where football,cricket are played.Besides studies, you can do lots of extra activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good,Rooms are well cleaned, 1 table ,chair ,cupboard are provided in each room. Talking about the food,there are two mess in each hostel,one is serving purely veg food and other is non veg.

Admission

Admission process is very simple,you have to appear for GATE exam to get this prestigious IIT Then according to your gate score you can choose the desired college.GATE exam is conducted every year and lakhs of candidates appear in it,not only IIT,you will get many opportunities in PSU.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good. If you want you can get easily if you come in this criterion. Most of branch offer placemnt of 20 to 40 lakhs per annum. Cs offer the highhest placement cost. Internship also offered here with good offer

Cuj Growing towards a bright Future

Remarks:

We desperately need to shift to the new campus. Every department needs minimum 2-3more faculty. University must have to make the full campus Wi-Fi enabled as we are living in 21st century where we have to make ourself more advance. Needs to work on hostel facility and alumni network.

Remarks:

Positive thing is that you will get the superb guidance of the faculties of one of the premiere institute of India. You will get feel of National Institute there, you will have all the things at a single time The bad thing of the campus is that it doesn't have a canteen for even a small thing you have to go out.

Remarks:

Health center is 24/7 open here with all medical facilities and medicines for free.Bad thing is results are not declared on time.

BIT Mesra - Good Collage and Placement

Remarks:

All good remarks about collage cause at last approx 80 % students get placement in collage campus. Bad remark is BIT should use better cooks in hostel and should provide better cleanness in washrooms of hostels. Collage management is good and it's in best

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director. After this we were called to campus for pre-registration for our course there we had to submit our documents and verify our identity. That's it !!...Read More
