Mess food is decent, don't expect much as fees is lower than other colleges

Placement Experience:

Placement stats are pretty good for Software companies also and for other branches like Earth branches it's also good. Giants like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Sprinklr, and Deshaw consistently visit the campus giving huge opportunities.

Likes

Almost all reputed software companies like Amazon, google, Microsoft etc. recruit from the campus.
The students also got stupendous internship at different companies.
Chance of higher studies in other colleges.

Dislikes

Placement is not good for lower branches.
Hostel life in not good

Placement Experience:

The placement record of IIT ISM Dhanbad is good. Almost all students get placed. The placement rate is 98%. Placement started in the 7th semester. Many MNCs and Indian companies come to the campus for placement. These include -Microsoft, Google, Uber, Oracle etc. Jio and TATA recruit a maximum number of students appx 50 each. This year The highest on-campus package is 52 lakh by Accenture japan and the highest domestic package is 43 lakh. The average package is 17.07 lakh per annum and the median package is around 20 lakh per annum. The highest off-campus package is 92 lakh by Bloomberg London.

The faculty of our department is so talented and supportive, and on the basis of my rank, I found this course is good. Our professors are so qualified and they teach very well. Literally, I want to say that course exams are very difficult.

After the 6th-semester examination companies started to come for placement basically the first resume shortlist and the coding round begins after that from December interview process starts every year. lots of companies like Microsoft, and Google also come for hiring.

Insights of IIT (ISM)

Likes

The campus was built in 1926 so it has some good heritage buildings and lots of greenery.
There are many opportunities for sports here. There is SAC (student activity center) for students.
The senior junior bond is very strong in campus.

Dislikes

Being an IIT there is academic load on the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements are better than those most of private engineering colleges. The placement process starts in the month of December. There are also internship programs arranged by the campus for the students. Many students also go into research Internships or for higher studies.

I am always eager to learn about new technologies and that's why I have chosen the computer science and engineering course. The student radio in my college is very very bad :( Qualification of the faculty is good but is not that much interesting as I thought before taking admission into the IIT.

Students get internships in 3rd year out of which many get PPO. Students in 4th year get placements opportunities with amazing companies coming in a campus like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Sprinklr, Aditya Birla, Tata, ONGC, Cairn India etc The highest international package is 90 lac and the domestic is 51 lac. The average package is 14 lac Almost 90% of students get placed

Some of the faculties are pretty good. All faculties are very well qualified but some of them don't have a good teaching style. In one semester two quizzes, one mid-sem, and an end-semester exam are taken.

The campus life at IIT ISM Dhanbad is very active with various clubs and societies catering to different interests such as music, dance, drama and sports. The annual techfest and fest are very lively and s source of attraction.
The faculty at IIT ISM Dhanbad is highly qualified and experienced with a good mix of academia and industry professionals they are known to be dedicated supportive and approachable who help students to excel in their chosen field.
The placement at the college is considered to be good, with a good number of companies visiting the campus for recruitment and offering attractive packages.

Placement Experience:

The college is known for its strong track record of placements will stop the placement process usually begins in the final semester of the program and students become eligible for campus placements from the final semester. Companies from various sectors like IT, consulting, finance, e-commerce manufacturing, and oil and gas visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the companies that have visited the campus in the past include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Exxon Mobile, and shell. The highest package offered by companies in the past ranges from INR 50 LPA to INR 1.5 CRPA and the average package offered ranges from INR 15 to 25 LPA. IIT Dhanbad ranks 15th among the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is a much older establishment than IIT Bhubaneswar. The fee structure for BTech in ECE at IIT Dhanbad is 2,30,120 for one year. It Requires a JEE ranking of 3000-10000 for ECE. The ECE department of IIT Dhanbad has seen 60% placement of students with an average annual salary package of 15 lakhs per annum and highest being 39 lakhs per annum. IIT Dhanbad has a total of 332 faculty members who are highly qualified and experienced members. Out of total, 315 members are Ph.D. holders.

IIT Bhubaneswar ranks 17th in the Engineering category by NIRF 2019. It is one of the newer IITs. The students with JEE ranking between 2000-7000 are eligible for Electrical Engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar.
